Tonight's prime time just confirms what we all know, FG (the party of the well heeled and landlords) have no interest in solving the homelessness crisis. If ever an issue deserves to bring down an government then this is it. Every one of you that voted for them are responsible for this. Hang your heads in shame, shame.

Homelessness is getting worse, it's time for Varadkar to step down and admit he has no morals.

Suggest some policies that could solve this issue...

Michael Noonan solicited international vulture funds in order to sell them Irish property.

At discount prices.

The discount funded by the tax paying citizen and funded by those made homeless as a result.

How so?

Did rents go up because landlords are now international firms?

The evidence suggests so.

The old Long fields Hotel in Fitzwilliam Street has been turned into a homeless hostel, at a cost in excess of €300,000.00 per bed. That is the sort if lunacy we are dealing with - presided over not by the elected representatives but the overpaid incompetent apparatchiks like that bloated clown Kenny on PT.

180000 empty homes.

The plebs are being fooled by the media into thinking we need more empty units.

Cheered on by tradesmen scum.

A shameful action worthy of Fine Gael. People who are now homeless were denied the chance to buy their homes at the prices offered to foreign, tax-avoiding vulture funds.

Man doesn't like certain other people.

Man sees something else he doesn't like.

Man blames those people for what he doesn't like.

And that's about it. About as sophisticated as a dog taking a sh1t.

Why do we have a homelessness problem? Because we have too many people looking for too few houses and apartments in our cities. And we blame the government when a family breaks up and mammy and daddy now need to be provided with two homes by the state.

How true this is. FG will be forever tainted by the war they have declared on the non propertied classes.

The 'hubs' were introduced to sweep the problem under the carpet and to free up the hotel rooms for business.

It doesn't matter to FG.

If there is a shortage of homes then this will inhibit our planned population expansion (from migration), i suspect that is the main reason why the powers that be are so obsessed with the issue. If that is true do not worry, homes will come.

If they "exited homelessness" into private rented accommodation they not "exited homeless", only postponed it until the landlord decides to sell or require the house for himself/family member, etc.

This crisis has been escalating over the last five years, at least, why the help are there still any " voids" anywhere in the country?
