Bad poll for the big 3.

This sort of result in the locals/Euros would see all three main leaders under pressure.

Greens on 5% to Labour's 4% in the Sunday Times B&A poll. Looks like even the Nice But Dim voters are deserting Labour's sinking ship. FF=FG at 28%.

Impressive showing by Greens but is it a blip?
Two polls showing an increase for the Greens. That's generally an indication that there is a voting shift underway. Whether it will be permanent is another question. The interesting thing is that this could be quite deadly for Labour at an LE level in that it could lose seats.

The Greens got 5% in the Europeans last time. In the locals on the same day they got 1.6%.

I expect C. Cuffe to get 10%+ in Dublin in the Euros.

They usually do well in Europe.

They were only ever going to win one seat there, so even if it did, she'll still be safe.
It could be a repeat of fighting it out for the last seat as with that poll topper Brian Hayes and Eamon Ryan the last time. The extra seat does change the dynamics somewhat but the inflation of Fitzgerald's Twitter follower profile with probable bot followers looks a bit iffy. If she gets in below the second declared seat, it could be a precursor of a GE problem for FG.

Wouldn't read too much into it ...they've been as high as 8% in past euro elections.
Libertas remember them , even managed 6% (from memory).

Euro elections tend to be odd events

More interested to see to see if turnout drops below 50% even thought theyve paired it with the locals and a referendum to desperately try boost turnout

According to RTÉ the red C poll was done over the phone and online. Does anyone have an idea of when they started using online responses ? Also it’s interesting that the sample size was 2,000 vs the usual 1,000 so my guess is they have more data to come on the EU constituencies.

FG on 28% has got to mean trouble ahead. If they are running candiates based on a startegy of getting well above 30% it will get interesting.

FF seem to be stuck and haven’t moved at all in the last 5 years.

Can the greens gain at a local level - Or will it just be a gain in the Europeans.

So much for the Labour recovery that the IT have been pushing for the last week on the basis of selective figures from one poll - the 'centre' must hold!

The support for the GP is understandable given the dominance of environment issues, unfortunately people will have to learn the hard way with them once more.

Hopefully not, Cuffe is one of the more opportunist and right wing Greens but he may sneak between Daly, Boylan and White and leave them fighting for the so called Brexit seat.

He once told a woman on Kennys radio programme to take 2 busses to her wedding not a car, i kid you not

He also wants to inflict more misery on commuters by botlenecking fairview , which is a car park at rush hour but he claims is a "racetrack".

Im generally disposed towards the Greens but Cuffe is a rabid fundamentalist and a loon

Did he ever divest all those shares he had in the fossil fuel industry?
