Fine Gael have morphed into an Ultra Communist, Socialist, Leftie Greenie, Liberals loonie party. All their Cosgrave austerity, caution and conservatism is gone.

It was said that Francis Fitzgerals gave 25 million euros of taxpayers money to Hillary Clinton's election fund.

FG does not harass women in any systematic way, they just allow the banks rob with bogus tracker rates, facilitate vulture funds stockpile housing until the market prompts them to evict sitting tenants, and make those without gold card medical insurance wait in pain for years for an appointment with a medical consultant. They just hate the poor, not just the female poor.
I can agree with you up to one point. They do hate the poor, but they are hell bent on increasing the numbers of poor people. They just want a small number of elite rich and all the rest to be poor. It does not matter to them how the numbers are built up, if 1 million migrants are proposed by the EU, they will take them because it adds to the umber of poor.

Lefties/socialists/greenies/ commies all share that trait. They want to create as much poor as possible so they can promisce them riches. Why Fine Gael joined the left, I will never know.

The FG website is so devoid of content I couldnt find anything at all. I noted that in their general statements regarding their values they referred to equality of opportunity and a fair and caring society in which everyone is engaged in democracy.

So the question is how does this translate into policies whereby women are not treated less fairly than men within their own party?
Women me arshe. Frances Fitzgerald appointed Noreen O'Sullivan as Garda Commissioner. A monumental blunder, She is gone off with a massive pension. Fitzgerald was minister and was an abject failure. She was never fit for any political office. Left a monumental mess

Fumble and Bumble better known as Eoghan Murphy and Simon Harris, both cannot count and both would be lucky if the could find their own ass never mind a house for a family or a bed for a suffering patient.

She is 1, i would expect that these allegations will be investigated and if wrong doing is proved that the apropiate actions is taken, she has not resigned unlike in SF which has lost 15 County Councillors in the last couple of years due to bullying allegations.
Noone won't resign - she's far too much of a careerist to be principled.

She's on her way to run in Dublin Bay North now.

"Councillor Meade said: ‘I’m just a little councillor you see, when you look at something like the Maria Bailey case, which hit the national headlines, the party can move quickly and investigate quickly. Yet, I gave statements to Tom Curran [party general secretary] and Gerry O’Connell [a former organiser] and I have not heard back from them.’ His car was burned out at his home after a particularly fractious party meeting and he said his complaints to party headquarters were ignored until local media contacted Fine Gael headquarters repeatedly."

FG must harbour some serious crazies - I wonder what Meade did that they burnt his car?

Isn't Leo hounding the person that leaked the Maria Bailey insurance claim matter? Looks like bullying might start from the top.

The Marie Bailey insurance claim is chicken feed compared to the rot at the heart of Fine Gael!

Our current Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan was just an ordinary TD (Member of Parliament) in July 2009 when he made an obscene allegation against Nora Wall (formally Sister Dominic of the Sisters of Mercy). The allegation - that she had supplied children to paedophile priests - was one for which she had received an apology and damages from the Sunday World in 2002. Deputy Flanagan of course knew that he could not be sued for anything he said in the Dail (Parliament). I quote from his speech:
"There is more to this than meets the eye in respect of these social events. It has been suggested that there were frequent visits to the Cappoquin home by some clergy from Mount Melleray Abbey. Access to children may have been a key motivation for these visits. One must bear in mind that Mount Melleray was selected by the notorious paedophile, Fr. Brendan Smith, as a holiday destination or as a haven to which to escape when he was on the run from the authorities in Northern Ireland. This issue must be revisited" [My emphasis]

"This issue must be revisited". Like Alan Shatter before him, Charlie Flanagan is now Justice Minister. Has he revisited the issue? If he has failed to do so - as Shatter failed to follow up on his allegations regarding the murder of Bernadette Connolly - why has this happened? Does the Catholic Church still exercise secret power in Department of Justice? Are senior civil servants members of Opus Dei or the Knights of Columbanus? I think that Minister Flanagan has a duty to enlighten us!
