In a remarkable turnaround, Fianna Fail is apparently the most popular political party in the country according to an Irish Times poll.

Fianna Fáil has recovered ground to become the biggest party in the State, according to the latest Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll.

The poll was taken on Monday and Tuesday of this week before the landmark deal on the promissory notes.

Fianna Fáil has gained five points since the last Irish Times poll in October, while Fine Gael has dropped six and Labour has dropped two points.

It's now obvious that amnesia has set in and people are coming back to Fianna Fail. Fine Gael and Labour seeming increasingly pathetic despite this week's deal.

Biggest rise at +6 to 20% is the Independent/Other.

Hard to funking believe. Fianna Fail destroyed the country, yet they are rising in the polls. How funking dumb are the people of Ireland.

I think my head is going to explode. There is a democratic deficit in this country when the only choice for people to show there anger with the present muppets, is too go back to the muppets we had before.

Clearly, the people don't want Fine Gael and Labour. But there are no other alternatives hence FF's rise.

Irish people have a really really terrible short memory, FF nua is are the exact same as FF old, the party which amongst others destroyed this country. I wonder could we find out who these people are who want to vote for FF and export them

Poll taken on Monday, BEFORE the Promissory notes were dealt with.

This poll can be disregarded........
