Large garda presence at shop subject to repossession order - Independent.ie
Goods are currently being removed from Corrigan’s Londis in Kilmuckridge by a number of security personnel and loaded on to trucks.
...
A number of anti-eviction groups are protesting against the repossession order and a source told Independent.ie that the high garda presence is to ensure there are no breaches of the peace.
This is what happened last time

Wexford Echo — Kilmuckridge family store reopens after successful public protest
Sinn Féin’s General Election candidate, Cllr Johnny Mythen, addressing the rally said: “Twenty-two staff, their families, the Corrigan family, the suppliers and the vital Meals on Wheels Service are all affected by this illegal commando-style takeover of a local village shop in the middle of the night.”

A subsequent protest meeting was held in Kilmuckridge on October 11th. It was attended by anti-eviction groups Right2Homes and members of the New Land League, and addressed by debt campaigner and Senate candidate Jerry Beades.
...In this article, it was claimed that agents acting for Ken Fennell of Deloitte had illegally taken possession of a Londis supermarket at Kilmuckridge, Co Wexford. The Irish Times accepts, however, that Mr Fennell is a validly appointed receiver over this property and his agents took lawful possession of the property on October 5th, 2015.

At the moment ...the Garda are stretched very thin ...that people should foment such resistance ...is simply not right

It's important local yokels are dealt with swiftly if you don't they'll start acting like faceless vulture funds and start bribing politicians.

That should be a gold mine of a shop. Big summer venue for the Dubs at Morriscastle as well as a steady all year round trade imo

The meat in the butchers is fantastic, but there is also another supermarket in the same village, they could both do well as the population exploded there during boomier times, but there is a pub in that village that used to thrive and now only opens at the weekend, another opens after 6pm.

I know the area quite well. We holiday just up the road. Hadn't heard of these difficulties.

Jerry Beades is involved?

Nuff said
I expect Des has a holiday home nearby too.
