I am not sure if I see a crime here, no evidence of breaking and entry

Garda called in over images of gay sex act on Irish church altar
The Catholic Church has urged the Garda to investigate images apparently showing a man in priest's vestments performing a sex act on the altar of an Irish church.
...
A Catholic diocese has reported the matter to police ...

The diocese declined to comment further for legal reasons in view of "the criminal nature of the alleged incident".
...
"The photographs depict something that appears somewhat Satanic," the source said last night.

He called for "some sort of an exorcism at that church".

He also questioned how many people had received communion at the altar of the parish church since its violation, or had been confirmed, buried or married from it.
Might it contravene blasphemy laws ?

What would the charge be if nothing was damaged?

Seriously.
Indeed, I would dismiss a charge of blasphemy , as blasphemy refers to something that comes out of your mouth not your dick

The article isn't very clear. They state the photos are 'what looks like an Irish Church'. Are they saying they want to press charges for a possible trespass, and they have no idea where the trespass occurred? The catholic church of course has it's finger on the pulse of every semi amature pornography production.

Wonder was it a real priest or just roleplay.

From the link in the OP:

It is understood that several senior clerics, including bishops, have been made aware of the shocking images over recent days.
Images of Fr Ted like scenes where the bishops have to take the images away for 'inspection', spring to mind!

Though there's one basic rule of punctuation that you clearly don't get.
Is there ever any scenario whereby the use of multiple punctuation is allowed?

(Asking for a friend, cough, cough....)
