According to george a lady married with 3 kids and the house pulling in 70k, she would be better off giving up work and claiming the various benefits they would be entitled to...........great little county.

Come enda you clown, hit us hard in the budget......tip us all over the edge, so we just stop paying full stop.

Missed it. Much catch up with it on the Player.
Watched Mario which was a mistake - sketch on da Bert advising Nigerian government was somewhat amusing, though :)
Still another 30 mins to go......

George Lee....

Be careful. HBAP, Marvar88, IarwhiGael and co will swamp this thread trying to disgrace George for not having enough character to stick with his role of head "show pony" for FG.

Didn't watch , lee chose to join a political party and stand on that platform , therefor he can never be seen as an unbiased objective contributor to anything .....RTE should not be giving him a platform to portray himself as objective ...he's not

He was cute enough himself, hiding his sweetheart deal with RTE from the unsuspecting electorate. george likes the cushy number. Mind you, I bet he regrets his loss of devotion from the public who hung on his every word. His feet are made of clay, old George.

Absolutely, no credibility whatsoever.

had the chance to do something, get involved and conned the electorate .

However found out very quickly that commentating and putting out theories was far different from implementing policy.

Totally lacks credibility, and deserves no notice.
He deserves the same notice as FF, fc uk all.

It'd been said before and I'll say it again...Dan O'Brien and Stephen Donnelly are the spit of each other.

Welcome home to RTE George from your Mammy, Olivia O Leary. George did not understand politics, even though he reported extensively every week about politics and his friend Charlie Biird felt lonely in USA, away from Montrose where he was very much in the in crowd.

Question to this lady who paid €35,000 in stamp duty in 2005: If there was no stamp duty but the house was €35,000 more, would you have bought?

Answer: Yes.

Stamp duty was a tax on the seller, not the buyer.
