Seems that a manifesto/paper/rant posted by a Google engineer about diversity and the toxicity of some of its impositions has caused a few problems. The paper outlines some of the reasons why the imposition of diversity isn't working well in Google and goes on to outline some differences between men and women when it comes to coding and jobs. The reaction has been mixed.

Storm at Google over engineer's anti-diversity manifesto - Aug. 6, 2017

There has been an official comment from Google. Don't know how long this will run for yet but it seems to be getting traction.

Just read about this story on Zerohedge.
The out rage and witch hunting will be of medieval levels.
The first response of course.
Fire him.

Men and women are different biologically, the cultural marxists will just have to get used to the fact, no amount of idiotic screeching is going to change it.

This is a good beginning. Such opinions are held by enough people to cripple any company that chooses war with its own staff.

"Politically correct/pc" is a doubly dangerous phrase. Bigots refer to it when they are challenged but it also creates an atomohere of self-silence if a company/person shuts down debate, even when one is invited to participate.

This engineer referrred to biology as a reason for fewer women in tech. I haven't seen his explanation or evidence on this point. I have read comments demanding that he be fired.

It's a bit like a parent criticising a "fattest" doctor/teacher who expressed concerns about their child's weight. Or a doctor arguing against Prep roll out, without behaviour modification. If not hurting feelings trumps health, then we are all in trouble.

What are the biological reasons why the male:female ratio of p.ie is 6:1? Or even more striking in tech?

Why are there so few men in the nursing profession?

What is is being done about it?

Why has Sweden only 2% male nurses?

Whatever the Soviet Union, the People's Democracies and the Frankfurt School were they were not Libtards. Libtardism is a product of Capitalism and not "Marxism".

Diversity VP Brown, who was hired just weeks ago, wrote a lengthier response.
"Part of building an open, inclusive environment means fostering a culture in which those with alternative views, including different political views, feel safe sharing their opinions," Brown wrote

I hope this guy feels safe sharing his alternative views but I reckon he'll get the bullet even though this would be a hypocritical move given the quote above.

But hypocrisy is the bedrock upon which 'progressive' nonsense is built upon.
So, he'll be ejected promptly one would imagine.

Why the big drive to make women become coders? Once there are no barriers to entry then it's down to choice surely. Is there some ideal state where there is an even gender breakdown shoe-horned into every job? Why? To prove that there are no differences between the genders? If that is the case then wouldn't it all even out over time anyway. It looks like we are trying to enforce the outcome to prove the theory.

Probably depends on the field of engineering. The thing is that people are not created equal when it comes to engineering. Some stuff can be learned but after that, it depends on the abilities of the individual.

In any case the author claimed that these differences were "partially" and not wholly down to biology. The science supports this view.

We conclude that early experience, biological factors, educational policy, and cultural context affect the number of women and men who pursue advanced study in science and math and that these effects add and interact in complex ways. There are no single or simple answers to the complex questions about sex differences in science and mathematics.

To be honest i wouldnt have a clue about the amount of male to female posters on this site, in terms of tech, men generally have traditionally excelled at these sort of jobs, like women have in nursing and childminding, nothing wrong with that at all, it's what makes us unique.
