"Climate experts believe the next ice age is on its way." - Leonard Nimoy, 1978

A few decades too early but possibly not wrong.

So the ice not melting then...๐Ÿ™„

Some of it has and we are monitoring but no emergency. After so much snowfall in recent years, we would expect to see more melting anyway as glaciers calve off. https://t.co/P9N8Mkw24Q

This is shocking. Many counties that use coal will be blocked from speaking while the 2 biggest users, China and India will be permitted to speak. U.N. behaving like dictator rather than facilitator. This could be a fiasco. Leading countries blocked from speaking at UN climate summit

We spend some $1.5 trillion globally on mitigating global warming according to Climate Change Business Journal. That is roughly equivalent to all online retail sales globally.

Zero carbon emissions worldwide by 2030 would drop predicted global temperatures by 0.048 C.

Con job.

As our technology advances our ability to make failed predictions has improved with the use of climate models.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ DonKeiller on Twitter

Its pointless arguing about whether man made climate change is real or not, the political consensus has accepted that its real and must be tackled. My problem with govt policy is that it is full of inconsistencies - anything which is unpopular must be postponed.

What? Politicians have decided that it is in their personal interests to hook themselves to a bandwagon, so that should just be passively accepted? Even in the face of what is increasingly looking like fake science?

Interesting how Ireland in the grips of austerity and recession didn't force emissions down significantly.

Now there's talks of reverting to zero economic growth, stagnation and sustainability in order to try to decarbonise the economy... FeelsLikeKevinโ˜˜๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ on Twitter

All is left to 'market forces'..i.e. wealthy profiteers, and the Government is complicit in this abuse of Irish citizens. They regulate nothing..they police nothing..the create nothing that benefits citizens. Yet bend and break every law for big business.

Wonderful to see an actual Marine Biologist and his son respectfully engaging alarmists in conversation at the climate strike in Townsville today. @MRobertsQLD @EcoSenseNow @SteveSGoddard Shaun Trewern on Twitter
