As it seems, the govt is intent on provoking a war with frontline emergency services workers, after attempting to cut their pay for a third time.........you have to ask the question, why is there no govt fighting talk for anybody else ?????

Leo Varadkar » Quangos this ? only 143 to go mr lion.....roar

or this Commission: Legal services are still too expensive in Ireland ?

or this Ministers powerless to cut semi-state wages - Independent.ie ?

.....remember they claimed they couldn't reduce political pensions.....although the amount is so derisory they should hardly have bothered, but the point is they can..........bus eireann is reducing staff wages because the company hasn't got the money, the govt should simply reduce the cost of energy, and let the semi states do what everybody else has had to...

or this Is there a reasonably priced doctor in the house? - The Irish Times - Tue, Apr 24, 2012

or this Benefits bill to hit ......hammer workers into the ground, while the party continues for others.....

or this Foreign aid squandered by the pool - Independent.ie

anybody who thinks this is any kind of "deal" needs their head examined......the govt thinks a small no. of state employees are going to pay for a complete leadership failure.......lets see.

Plump bunny wants to expand the Pravda Levy for continuation of the largess in Montrose, while half the households in the country have less than 100 Euro to spare at the end of the month.

This government is positively enthusiastic about wasting the people's money.

I have never seen in my lifetime a govt that so relishes, screwing the people.....you can actually see some of them lick their lips when they talk about cuts.

This govt will go down in history as one of the most arrogant and hated govt's ever, and that's saying something when you think about ff and their carry on.

There are major issues with the price of some services.

Why does a filling cost €90 or a 15 minute trip to the doctor €60. Why are solicitors and barristors so expensive? Why is it okay to NOT tax empty commercial buildings even though there are massive issues with rental prices at the minute? Why do we allow the private rental sector to be propped up when it is taking money away from the domestic economy? Why not tax empty dwellings to keep them competitive?

Why did I have to pay €100 for champix when the stuff would have cost penny's to make? Fair enough if you want to charge that but you should have to face competiton if you are ripping people off. Should the govt consider allowing companies bypass patent and copyright laws where they find there to be price gouging?

It's time to make life cheaper to live.
