Probably. Vinnie loves empty headed windbags.

That was the voters.

They saved us from one of Enda's worst brainfarts.

Pity they can't save us from Enda.

If it wasn't for the great and noble Senators and their heroic labours the output of Irish Agriculture would fall dramatically. Well worth all of those pensions and allowances etc.

Does the Senate Agricultural Panel have any real power?

Astonishing the number of antagonist comments on Grace O Sullivan. If we had a Dail and Senate with people of her calibre Ireland would be in a much better place.

Grace O'Sullivan is based in Waterford and ran for the party on two previous occasions. Their parliamentary party is now back at half its pre-government levels, they have a non-Dublin-based Oireachtas member again and women now outnumber men in said parliamentary party.

Former surfer first Green candidate elected to Seanad
Delighted to see Grace got in. Maybe her lone might bring sanity to proceedings but I doubt it. The fat cats in the IFA run our agriculture and run it badly to the benefit of the few.

I wonder does Grace O'Sullivan identify with the Green Party as it was in February 2007, or does she identify with the current Eamon Ryan-led outfit?

Gormley's speech is quite remarkable...
