Maybe the British public are finally wakening up to the shower of crooks and chancers they put in office.

You might like this take on Cummings and Johnson

Will the British public wake up to this pair of charlatans I wonder.

Yeah the Telegraph's been very busy reading the swath of info the govt dumped on Friday:

Britain’s disastrous decision to abandon testing for coronavirus occurred because health systems could only cope with five cases a week, official documents show.
Newly-released papers from the Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies shows routine testing and tracing of contacts was stopped because Public Health England’s systems were struggling to deal with a handful of cases.
At a meeting on Feb 18, advisors said PHE could only cope with testing and tracing contacts of five Covid-19 cases a week, with modelling suggesting it might only be possible to increase this to 50 cases.

It’s worse than that Sync

Total shambles it seems based on that tracers experience of it. And Rabb on Marr just brushed it aside. He also wasn’t able to explain the Cummings exception. Wires they have a traffic lights system of 5 to 1, currently at level 4 but when asked were they now at 3, ease lock down he couldn’t answer. They are clearing easing lockdown, level 3 while at level 4 as a political ploy at appease the population incensed by the actions of the elites. But ignoring the fact they are at level 4 because they’re infection and death rate are horrific still.

Raab was perfectly clear. When Bojo was sick and not in charge, it was ok for Raab not to know what Cummings was up to because Bojo was still technically breathing. They're moving to 3 on the basis of scientific advice, even though the scientists won't actually let them move from 4 and the app that was deemed crucial a month ago and has been in place in Germany, South Korea etc since March isn't actually that important now and besides the trial in Isle of Wight was a success despite that app being abandoned now.

Test-and-Trace looks like being the latest Johnson-Cummings debacle.

(I think the hypenated expression is justified because Johnson has entered into deep partnership with an unelected advisor)

At this point the "Number of tests" has all the meaning of "Number of Nigerian Prince emails issued". It's irrelevant. What you care about is how many people responded to the letter with their bank a/c details. If nothing else like: Just leave out the "People tested" column so it's not so obvious.

The official statistics office have said the above in a much nicer way:

Using the official stats from all countries, the UK gets to see exactly where it sits via the FT.

Really interesting to see the Israel/South Africa figures. Basically by locking everyone at home, deaths are down due to lack of deaths via unrest/crime.

so looking at the third graph for the US the net excess deaths is well under 10K so far compared to average years

Dido Harding is hilariously out of her depth. She's taking a novel approach though at the Health Select Committee.

The Office of Statistics have repeatedly said her figures are shit.

The HSC is demanding she provides basic stats like "What % of people get their test done within 24 hours" and "How many tests have actually been done".

And she just keeps saying she wants to, but she wants the OS to validate the figures first.

So basically she's taking her incompetence and making it the OS's responsibility.

Dido Harding is also the boss of Cheltenham racecourse. Reminds me of when Bush appointed a friend from horseracing industry to run FEMA before Hurricane Katrina.

Meanwhile another Cabinet minister is in isolated with possible Covid-19. He's Alok Sharma, the Business Secretary. JRMs decision to bring back in person sessions doesn't look so clever now. Its especially unfair to the Speaker Lindsay Hoyle who has health issues.

Dido Harding is not the 'boss' of Cheltenham racecourse, or indeed any racecourse.

Boris refuses to give straight answer to question from Sir Keir Starmer on what the R rate and Alert level is.

Boris did not do his homework, as usual.

Quoted online is a letter from the Hedmaster of Eton to Boris' father back in the day "Boris is affronted ... he has not been made School Captain ... he seems to think it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, free of the network of obligation that binds everyone else ... ". See 11:00 in the video below.

As the boy was, so the man is.

James O'Brien is making a good living from scorching Johnson regularly.
