You can twist this any way you like, but if an Irish person has been on the list for years, and an immigrant family (who may not even be here) are given a house and the Irish person is still on the list and you can't see how the Irish family is losing out?

You can shut your eyes to this sort of injustice but most people will see it for what it is.
AS it different funding you can not compare.

They would only lose a home if these homes were specificity bought as social homes for Irish people and then redistribute to refugees instead. But that is not the case. The Councils are only the local partners sourcing the Refugees short term accommodation for 18 months. The refugees are not getting Council houses. So no Irish person is losing out.
Where i lived over thirty years ago is now all Cluid Housing over twenty units and all full of Middle Eastern families.

Are you seriously trying to suggest they were all on the housing list before some families who are waiting years.

Do you know how those housing were allocated. Do you know where the funding came from. Would those housing have been allocated to the council for social housing if not for the Middle Eastern families using them or is it just speculation by you.

Cluid Housing is a private not-for-profit housing provider.

How are they getting to the top of the list ahead of Irish families ?

They are getting ahead of Irish people. None of those people should be anywhere near a house as long as Irish families are on the list. If there is funding there to put them into houses where is that money after been taken from.

We pay out so much in overseas aid that there should be no problem building camps for these people closer to their homes so they can go back and rebuild and not take homes any from Irish people who need them.

You seem to miss the point. They are not getting social housing so are not getting to the top of any list. Their housing is mainly coming from EU money and private housing organisations so it does not effect the housing list.

They are in homes ahead of Irish people in this country so yes they are getting ahead and getting the better accommodation. If it is EU money than why is it not being used to help these people closer to home. And as you say it is EU money which is here for Ireland than it is not doing its job right as these people are not Irish.

This is population replacement 101.

Can you show any figure that shows that. And could you break down what do you mean by Africans. Do you mean only people born in the continent of Africa.

How do you know they will not get jobs and businesses and work for a living?
Because they are refugees and are not allowed to work.

Why do you assume they will be allowed work, because this is part of your little fascist plan to bring in millions of third worlders and undermine the natives and probably replace them?

I wouldn't trust any official figures. Those numbers are going up weekly and the government is hiding that fact.

We are well on our way to becoming a multicultural crap hope like England.

They are refugees so they are all ready allowed to work. It's asylum seeker who live in designated centers not houses who are not allowed to work.

Only what I see with my own two eyes everyday as I drive across and back the city to work.
So just based on the area you drive every day. So do you count the amount of black people you see. Do you ask them are the tourists or doctors or running businesses or here on a visa or do you just presume they are refugees and that they will be given free house.
