How long before the wind of change turns northerly and blows DUP dinosaurs into the sea?

Yesterday's referendum in the Republic is looking decisive with two exit polls showing support for liberal abortion legislation running at almost 70%.
Opinion polls here in the north consistently show similar liiberal trends in support for same-sex-marriage and abortion. Yet both remain prohibited, and the Tory administration running the place show no signs of addressing that, arguing that they are devolved issues, in deference to their DUP backers at Westminster.
So the question is simple: how long before younger voters in the unionist community turn on the DUP and demand equality with their fellow citizens in the Republic?

Northern Ireland is different. Part of the population there are one of the lost tribes of Israel, God’s own people, the salt of the earth, the Ulster folk selected by God, a group handed the job by God himself to inform, guide, and where necessary violently force/kill/subject the non Christian Catholic heathen savages into obeying his divine will. It’s a special place. God’s little AirBnB apartment on earth. His one true last dominion. There can be no abortion in God’s own house and among his own people.

I know what they've voted for. Parity with NI at the moment. They've simply removed part of their constitution.

You focus on a tiny minority who believe in the Lost Tribes of Israel thing - something that has been believed in the past by the Catholic Community, who also had a myth that Ireland was populated by the granddaughter of Noah who built her own Ark when refused a place in Noah's one and took 2 other women and 38 men to the unpopulated Ireland ..... and is the Lost tribe thing any different from the nonsense of the assumption or transubstantiation .... where some mumbo jumbo over bread and wine turns it into actual human flesh and blood to be cannibalistally eaten? ;)

This is too serious an issue to have twats like you playing parochial sectarian games.

The polls suggest that there would be majority support in both communities for both gay liberation legislation and abortion rights, and if anything that support is higher in the Unionist community than in the nationalist community.

They've voted for a removal of the constitutional ban on abortion, on a clear understanding that liberal abortion legislation will follow.
Before the referendum the government outlined their proposals which included allowing unconditional abortion on demand for up to 12 weeks, and up to 24 weeks where the life of the mother was deemed to be at risk in the event of a continuation of the pregnancy.
(Given the expected size of the government's majority the proposed legislation now looks certain to pass.)
A bit more than a "maybe".

They've voted to remove it from their constitution. AFAIK, there still isn't laws that have legalized abortion.

The way the DUP keeps "Northern Ireland" back could have me voting for them. see "DUP leader Arlene Foster has said she would not “assimilate” in a united Ireland.1
