Cases of women being beaten by family members, are common in the Gaza strip and the west Bank. Women murdered for family honour are seldom reported. Most women who are murdered are buried by members of their family in secret, and their deaths are not reported to any official body. The palestinian media also refrain from reporting on this, for the sake of family honour. Gay palestinians are often arrested and tortured. Men in the palestinian controlled areas are free to divorce at will and have multiple wives, while women find it almost impossible to get a divorce. Torture, by the palestinian authority and Hamas, of palestinian detainees is widespread. Now in light of all that why is there so much support for the palestinian cause?

Mass slaughter of Palestinian children by the IDF is on a rather more serious scale. But you know that already.
So your support for the palestinian cause is nothing to do with human rights?

Some 20 women are murdered in domestic violence cases every year in Israel. Many of them sought assistance at shelters, but after leaving, they found themselves without money or support, and returned home to their abusers.

Last year a total of 755 women, an increase of about 20 percent over 2014, took refuge in one of Israel’s 14 shelters for women who are victims of domestic violence. Another 60 women contacted the shelters for help last year, but didn’t move in because there was no available space. And many don’t manage to put their lives back together after leaving the shelter, Haaretz has found.

When a woman leaves the shelter, the grant money is not enough for her to buy a refrigerator,“ noted Rivka Neuman, the director of the division for the advancement of women at WIZO, the Women’s International Zionist Organization. Neuman is a social worker who directed a women’s shelter for 17 years. A woman with children who leaves a shelter becomes a single parent, Neuman noted.

This is a terrible state of affairs for a country like Israel which is taking encouraging settlers to come from all over the world to add to the domestic violence problems.

You would think that the Israeli regime would try to sort out the rising domestic violence as a priority but it seems they are more interested in illegal military occupation which now extends into half a century.

When I was there I saw how the IDF are a bunch of thugs working with illegal settlers to beat up and even kill Palestinians so they can get their land and property.

I'd put stopping dropping white phosphorus on them further up the list.

But I have seen videos of "IDF soldiers" beating and throwing Palestinian women around the place if that's what you're in to.

Sick cünt

It's a sign of the times that we're in when someone asks are there such a thing as a Palestinian areas left?
I often wonder how Israelis who ave suffered most from fascism than any other people can look away as their government steam rollers over the indigenous people of Palestine simply to gain lebensraum?
The short answer is that there are few Palestinian areas are left in those that used to be, the basic human right to housing for locals is trumped.

755 is actually very low for a country with a population of 7.5 million. And when you look at the total population of palestinian women in the palestinian jurisdiction areas, the numbers of women suffering domestic abuse is over 40%. That's massive

Look up. "It goes without saying". My late and little 'Jewish princess' wife by genes. Looked on in dismay as Israel turned into a nightmare State.
Still got nothing to say about the lack of human rights for palestinians in areas under palestinian jurisdiction? Is it a racist thing with you? You maybe think the palestinians are so backward they can't be helf responsible for their actions?

Certainly may be a racist thing that there are so few Palestinian areas left on the map. What human rights did Mordechai Vanunu have? Tell me all about how Israel stole Irish passports to facilitate a murder squad move around the Middle East?
Why are the Israeli people often anti Irish?

Please zoo this racist rant of an OP Which is noticeably free of links or evidence to back up its claims
Especially as it's written by a racist and bigoted moron from the Israeli embassy
