They are not angry that he ' died for nothing' as you put it.
They are angry because of the treatment his memorial band have shown by SF.

You mean it's gonna take them another 30 years to work out that he died for nothing?

The man is dead.
No need to be insulting towards his family Listowel.
Yes indeed. Such comments are very unwelcome. This man did not die in vain the cause he served will reach its ultimate conclusion soon. SF have some deep soul searching to do.

The other parties are bothered about jobs, housing, transport and all that boring stuff.

SF need one more item in the their product line up, the Victim's Mantle.

All of which goes to show that young Lynch was an easily led eejit, of the sort that is no use in running an ideal republic of competent free thinkers.

Your first error was to mistake the INLA and IRA as the same organisation in your OP. You have never recovered from that clanger.

To a "stater" like me, the IRA and INLA were as similar as the UVF and the UDA.

You can fuss about different leaders and uniforms in what were all thugs playing on the ignorant poor.

Marxism, the ideal solution for Ireland? Comedians.

I think it's more to do with Sinn Fein controlling the general Republican narrative in the North. It's what communists do.
Power at any price.
The Bobby Sands Trust, not a penny goes to the Sands family.
Adams, Hartley and Morrison have the 10 hungers strikers deaths on their hands.
They should never never have died.
It was about catapulting Sinn Fein onto the Political/election stage.
The Lynch family have been treated abysmally.. and it will come Back to haunt Sinn Fein.
People with their eyes wide open, can see them for the shisters they are.
Fedoras, plays, merchandise and bank accounts seem to be the order these days... 🙄

Hunger strikers on a DINNER PLATE - Very appropriate

If you look hard enough and close your eyes, you'll see a roast chicken with stuffing and bread sauce, swimming in gravy, trimmed with roasties and red cabbage.
