In this modern, harsh, cruel world many of us are on the look out for prospective partners.....So what in your opinion esteemed posters on Politics.ie is the ideal woman or man....
Guys:
Do you like your woman tied to the sink, her only role being a baby machine? or do you like the more liberated woman who speaks her mind?

Girls: Whats your preference?

Tall, dark and handsome with the personality of a brick OR face a like shrek with the personality of Bill Clinton...

The choice is yours, ladies and Gentlemen

Huh, I could write a whole book about the ideal man.
I'm extremely demanding (unfortunally).

To make it simple: Intelligence and charm are most important.
LOL...I'd have to concur but it hard to find both together!
A fat wallet also helps!!! he heh

Well now this is an interesting question indeed.

Firstly I'd have to give you Trojanhorse a precise answer and that would be I'd probably go for your shrek like character that you really should have gone into detail bit more about.

Definitely personality is a huge thing whats the point in having good looks if you don't have a personality to go with it. Complete turn off.

I do like shrek though he was a very funny kinda guy. Do men/women really need to have money so people can be attracted to them?

I don't believe you. What's wrong if you had to spend a little bit of money why does the man always have to spend money on us?

Am totally disgusted with you.

Well ok I will agree maybe Shrek isn't the best looking but he's one the extreme side of the spectrum.

Still though how on earth would you ever be happy with just money would you not like a bit of an interesting character and well maybe face also.

well hey if you wanna shell out the bills on some bloke... be my guest but from what i heard it only ends in tears...

To be honest think the ideal man is all about the personality...I like a man with a bit of fight in him and as for the rest.... well beggars can't be chosers as my granny would say!!!!!

Let's see,
She'd have a beautiful face, large breasts and athletic build, I like a firm stomach and a bit of muscle. She'd either be a Sinn Féiner or at least a republican socilalist. She'd be about five foot eight (tall but not too tall), have an extremely high sex drive (I see no reason why we shouldn't try to have sex at least five nights a week), be kind to kids, love cats, be intellligent and a stimulating conversationist, like cuddling on the sofa, and have a lovely warm smile.

Now for the reality check!

I'm five foot five, have muscles like an anorexic chicken, have a layer of puppy fat on me despite my scrawniness, am intensely opinionated (granted if she was a republican socialist that would probably not be a problem), incredibly vain, an attention seeker, self centred, smelly, lazy, foul mouthed and insecure.

What odds would Paddy powers give me of the ideal woman I described falling for that? If the odds are right I may put a fiver on it. I love betting on hopeless causes.

Anna Kournikova maybe?

At least I'm flattered that you like slavonic girls.
Actually in Poland, Ukraine, Russia, etc. every woman looks like her.
Our boys are rather bored with these Kurnikova- types. :(
Blonde slavonic girls especially. They have to be blonde! And if there is too many of them in Poland, there is always room here.

Actually, in Poland there's an awful trend of having dark hair because the slavs are a blonde race.
Dark hair (à la Edyta Górniak, who is actually naturally blond aswell) is very trendy in Poland because it is exotic and many girls dye their dark- I once made that mistake too: It was AWFUL!
Luckily, this fashion is already fading away again.

smelly, lazy, foul mouthed and insecure
oh dear!

And Shrek is also primitive- he has no table manners! :x
