The admission by health officials in the UK of a form of institutional euthanasia,
Basically morphine being given to patients that are not in pain.
The coded phrase in medical terms is "To make Comfortable"
"Just giving them something to make them Comfortable"

This unspoken scandal has yet to be exposed in Ireland.
Its only a matter of time.

The code "To make Comfortable"

Excellent and timely OP.

The advice being given to Irish senior citizens is to lie about your age on entering any Irish state run hospital.

This is because preferential treatment is always given to those under 65.

Making dying people comfortable and pain-free is a noble goal. The hospital should be thanked.

Except when they are not dying or in pain.
That is more suitable in Hospice care. Which is indeed noble.
But being old or injured should not be cause to be put down.

This is why people over 65 are all being advised to lie about their age should they have to go to a an Irish state run hospital.

Who is advising them to do this?

Persons over 65 are advised not to reveal their true chronological age if unfortunate enough to have to enter any Irish state run hospital.

The reasons are that in the past few decades preferential treatment is being afforded to those under 65.

(This is a general point only and not necessarily true in every instance )

Once more for the craic, but who exactly is imparting this advice to the over 65's?

Its a simple question really. Who? One of the big 'W's' (along with what, where, when and why.)

The situation is critical in Ireland when murder is now freely legal and available. Such sadness.

In UK this is big news, the admission itself is big.
In Ireland it seems just another taboo not to talk about.
I'm asking the buffoon who recommends older folk lie about their ages in Irish hospitals.

What taboo? We aren't talking about it because there is no evidence it happens. The English case been discussed at length on here and in the media.

Indeed correct.
Once the principle of murdering unwanted unborn children is accepted then there is no reason not to adopt a similiar principle in relation to unwanted elderly or incapacitated people.

This is what the Irish savages want.

At what point did the they lose their morals and allow for such cruelty?

I don't think this is true. Especially considering the source.
It is completely true as far as state run Irish hospitals are concerned.

Resources are concentrated primarily for the benefit of the under 65,s.

Therefore it is sound advice to any citizen over 65 entering one of these places to lie about their age.
