Well said John - You're certainly The Voice Of Reason ! . :D
Thank you. I am glad that at least one other poster agrees with my hard line against Prods and criminals.

And rename Fine Gael into what?
It isn't an ethnic-based party - it doesn't exclude members of any ethnic-minority. I am saying that parties that do exclude people on an ethnic-basis should be banned. Otherwise we will have a ghettoised society with Polish parties, Irish parties, Nigerian parties etc. Indeed there is already a new Nigerian party after being set up according to a previous thread.

Why are there none? To me the obvious answer is for secularists, Muslims, Jews, Prods etc to establish their own schools - assisted, of course, by the State to the same extent as Catholic schools are assisted. Assisted no more, assisted no less.
Apparently the big difference is land. RCs and, to be fair, CofI have enough church land to build on.

Do you think the Pope would recognize someone with this claim as a Catholic?

Well, you can't realistically ask the Pope - would the Archbishop of Armagh?

Heck, would McQuaid himself, were he alive?

A big idea of the (Roman) Catholic Church is the importance of the Hierarchy. You just can't claim to be "not a Christian but a Catholic", because the Pope says Catholics are Christians. I can show you a lot of proof for that, including the rather famous statement that mostly deals with other churches.

I'm afraid that such a ban would achieve nothing. One can easily create a Polish Party of Ireland and NOT restrict membership. But the party would still be ethnic. To take an example from the other jurisdiction, the DUP probably has no religious test for membership, but it is clearly a party of one community.

Banning an ethnic designation would, at least technically, hit Fine Gael - and still achieve nothing, see DUP example again. While I am strongly against ethnic parties, I don't see how a ban could be effective.

Just had an idea: one way might be to preempt this by founding a European Party of Ireland, with a federal Europe as the main stated aim. This would be a natural place for Eastern European "ethnic" candidates, while the aim is quite agreeable to a significant number of Irish people. But somehow I can't see who would make that first step...

I neither know not care. I am a member of the oppressed native race in Ulster. That makes me a Catholic, a real Catholic.

If Catholics are a race in Ulster, then the Pope is not a Catholic. He is German, and I don't think he has connections in Ulster.

Bertie was right in identifying integration as the single, most important issue that will face us in the coming years.

Paddy O'Gorman was on Pat Kenny's show today; and commented that Ken Livingstone was wrong in portraying the Irish, and Pakistanis, as successful integration examples, in London. O'Gorman thought these two were the least integrated of all nationalities, in England!

I go along with that. Here, the Indians and Pakistanis are the least integrated. They do not partake in the local culture and tradition; and bring in spouses from their country of origin. The UK has many examples of this ghettoisation of cities. It's got so acceptable that British political parties now choose their candidates to reflect this non-integration.

We must not allow this to happen here.

To add to this, the Irish Times of today, carries a statement from a Muslim leader "crriticising religious bias in Ireland" because he says "he lived 20 metres away from a primary school, yet it could not accept his Irish-born son because he was not a Catholic".

Is he aware that the Muslim school in Clonskeagh will not accept non-Muslim kids?

There should be no faith-based schools here. The Archbishop of Dublin has made several statements in favour of non-faith based schools and he should be given support.

Separate a kid in school and you'll separate him/her for life.
It is an interesting subject .. Bertie essentially caused all the issues here by allowing mass immigration under his watch. We had these great things before called "nations" that prevented such integration problems in general. Alas the rise of Internationalism in all its different forms; Imperialism, International socialism and the more obscure sounding and recent trend of Transnational Progressivism has made the rise of ethnic tensions all the more likely.

So you would support a ban on All faith based schools here? Would this not be against the human rights of all these muslims that are somehow turning up here?

Also how would you deal with the cousin and arranged marriage issue among south asian muslims if you were in charge? (one stat has 75% of pakistanis in bradford marrying their first cousins)*

Integration has suffered a fatal blow in Ireland. Our Last government is to blame for this, where they allowed hundreds of thousands of non nationals into our country over such a short period of time. Bearing in mind we are a nation of less than four million people, also among them where illegal immigrants mainly from west Africa who forced themselves on the people of Ireland, and many of them are still being looked after by the Irish taxpayer. Plus 30% of people in Irish prisons are non nationals. This country is now going the way of England and France.

The only solution for a better more inclusive Ireland is an ireland made up of entirely ethnic irish people.

All Immigrants that came here over the last 20 years or so should be deported or repatriated to their own countries.

I personally would have no problem having a cuppa or whatever with a foreign national but I believe in an ireland made up of native ethnic irish people . I don't want to live in a multi cultural society which my government in co-operation with the EU are forcing upon me.

I do believe in faith based schools but only christian ones, I dont want islam in Ireland as i see it as a backward Regressive religion that feeds off the domination and control of women and the control of peoples lives through fear.

deport all the roma gypsies , all the muslims , all the eastern europeans and all the africans and lets have our Nation back before its destroyed like over seas in the UK.

What about mixed couples or their offspring? What about Jewish faith schools? What's the ethnic basis for deciding if someone is Irish? My family originally came from Holland, would I be allowed to stay or would I be deported as an illegal alien? And what about the constitution? Many of the people you propose to deport would be citizens and would be afforded the rights and priveleges that bestows. How do you propose to strip them of citizenship? Also, what do you propose to do with people who oppose these policies?

4.6 million in the south, 1.8 million in the north. 900,000 unionists - Irish of British ethnicity. No 'lol' about it.

you may may not want it but the world has changed and you're going to have to live with it.

So, the White indigenous population are not allowed any say on the matter? The Black man must be appeased at all costs.
What a treacherous, loathsome individual you are?

They have their say in the matter, they vote for parties who support the current immigration policies of the state. Get over it.

Public representatives of those parties are politicians. As such there is a requirement to be politically correct, and by jaysus they are, to a man and woman. The odd recalcitrant head above that parapet will be (and has been) summarily removed by the Irish Times and by the opinion pieces facilitated by that rag. Get over it ? We have little choice. History will phone this one in.

Hmmm.

So you want only ethnic Irish.

Interesting.

At what point in time would you consider Ireland to have been purely Irish?

After independance?

After the famine?

After the plantation?

After the Norman invasion?

After the Viking invasions?

After a bunch of Gaulic-Roman upper class twits and a Roman called Patrick came to Ireland around 450AD fleeing Atilla on his rampage through Gaul?

After Celtic migration around 800BC or 500BC?

Before 1000BC?

Before 2000BC?

Before 3000BC

Before 4000BC?

Before 5000BC?

Before 8000BC?

Before 11000BC?

Before 20000BC?

The reason I ask is this.

I have a few friends back in biomedical sciences whom I mathmatically model biomolecular systems (Bioinformatics contract)for on contract. I am sure I can talk one of them in to taking about 200ml of your blood for extreme in depth analysis. A lot more than the average sample, but I would prefer to repeat all analysis in depth, so as to ensure accuracy. I would love to take a look not only at your X and Y chromosones in an in depth manner, but would wander around the rest of your chromosones looking for anything interesting.

I am sure that if I did analysis of your genetic make up that no English, French, German, Dutch, Baltic, Scandinavian, Meditteranean, Middle Eastern or African DNA would be found.

The only problem with that is this. You see, after 1000 years, that Viking DNA alone would have spread in a very diluted form around most of the Irish population. The earlier Celtic traders who settled here will have there DNA in everyone.

If you don't have any of that DNA, you most likely will not be human and most likely be from another species, as all humans can trace there genetic heritage back to black people from Africa.

Would you be willing to subject yourself for genetic analysis to prove your PURITY?

PS: I suggest you read the book of Invasions. All Irish people know of that book and have at least some sort of passing familiarity with what it is about. That is why I find what you say suprising.

Are you actually Irish?
