A bit of perspective. A lot of awful, terrible, criminal acts have been perpetrated on the Irish nation, state and public in the last 20 years, mainly by Fianna Fail and their massive golden circle.

HOWEVER, some absolutely mind-boggligly brilliant, brilliant, things also happened in Ireland. Huge strides and advances were made and the IBEC video shows them all. But the greatest legacy of the 90's, and 00's is that this generation has far greater expectations than previous ones. As such, this is the generation that will destroy Fianna FAil and all they stand for.

I'm not so sure. The commuter belt voted for FF in the last election. Now they're angry because they're not going to be property millionaires, if FG/Labour cut their child benefit they'll sweep FF back into power in the 2012 election.

great video. Our export sector is still thriving and is propping up our economy. Shows how important it is to keep our fiscal independence and keep setting our own tax rates.

Maybe. Maybe not. We'll see. We may have a sea change in Ireland at long last. We may also fck it up entirely
