Ireland named world's 6th worst corporate tax haven · TheJournal.ie

IRELAND IS THE 6th worst corporate tax haven globally, according to new research by Oxfam.
Bermuda tops the list of 15 countries, followed by the Cayman Islands and the Netherlands. Ireland is sixth on the list, behind Switzerland and Singapore.
“Ireland is part of a toxic global tax system servicing the very wealthiest while ordinary people pay the price and lose out on essential public services,” said Jim Clarken, CEO of Oxfam Ireland today.
Interesting because we were just talking about taxation of companies in another thread. So my friends, are you all proud?!

The government has a few more years to make up a few more places, sixth place is no good by Fine Gael standards.

Pah. Behind Switzerland and the Netherlands....we can do better.

Aren't we constantly being told we should be more like those countries anyway?

If we all don the green jersey and under the leadership of the Crony Party (both wings) we can beat the Cayman Islands next year.

A non-issue. Spider-man is going to have a black girlfriend in the new movie. They took my childhood away with Ghostbusters, now they're ruining Spider-man. Sick to death of identity politics and feminazi propaganda and their genocide being ignored for these trivial non-issues, such as tax havens, economic policies that lead to disasters, wars, ethnic conflicts, global warming etc.

The UK does not feature on the list, but four territories that the United Kingdom is ultimately responsible for do appear: the Cayman Islands, Jersey, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands.

We are in sixth place when it comes attracting tax reducing entities.

And still Denis, the Bonox, Papa Smurf, JP, Kaiser and dozens more feel persecuted here and opt to reside elsewhere.

Are there some people who simply cannot be pleased ?
