Not surprising.

Serious food for though if there were an election before St Patricks day.

I know polls are meaningless enough at these times when there is no election campaign running, but it does look like we are are going to be in for a lot minority Governments , instability and elections over the next few years.

Or FF/FG.
It is the only combo that would bring any stability as they agree on nearly everything, but out of their own self interest they will not go down that road as they will suspect it could be the beginning of the end long term for one of them.

FF SF Government on the cards. But shshh FF won't admit this.
I doubt it.

Their will never be a junior partner for at least another 40 years. Bar maybe some loose alliance of indos.

SF dont even have the option of supporting a minority FF government. They would get destroyed.

The polls since the election have been broadly consistent and this is another that shows there has been little change since the GE. It also indicates that it is highly unlikely that there will be an election this year barring unforeseen circumstances.

Rather stupid title.

If FF are the top of the poll then it should be titled 'Ireland doesn't think, doesn't remember, doesn't do introspection, has no ethics, morals, decency......''

Same can be said for the fact FG are also riding high.

The big story to me out of all the polls since the election is the virtual elimination of the Labour Party as a force in Irish politics. Without FG transfers next time it will be lucky to come back with 3 or 4 seats on 6%.

The Inds are just too low in that poll. There's simply very little probability that all the votes for Ind candidates combined countrywide would only add up to the total vote of Labour 6% and AAA-PBP 4% combined. Can't see both FF and FG on around 60% of the vote either when they couldn't break 50% last time out. Whatever the polls say about the Inds, when it comes down to an actual GE the Inds are an easy option for the many voters who aren't wild about endorsing the parties.
