So columists like Harris, O'Doherty, Myers etc are to be ignored so you can create a false narrative of anti semitism?

You are conflating losing a debate with not having one. Which is more of the dishonesty that lost you the debate in the first place
those columnist's are British Israelis.

You'd need to be careful throwing terms like that around. Bigots in Ireland are usually the noisiest and it's by no means certain that while the Irish would like to help the Palestinians they think it's ok to pay a pension to someone who stabs a 19 year old girl to death.
Israel is a competitor state of Ireland for investment. Facebook, Google and other US companies are always being asked by American Jews to locate to Israel. Singapore, London and Netherlands are other competitors. Palestine is not.

See what i mean about annoying the right knobs?

The only difference between lagertha and you is he hates all brown people. You are more selective.
You are the knob. You use the word alt-right without having a clue what it means. You think it makes you sound clever and with it. When in fact as you don't know what it means and you use it in the wrong context you come across as a witless dope.

The context is the Dail. The example I gave was the Canadian prime minister being grilled in their parliament on this subject.

There has never been 'debate' here in these terms. Ask yourself why would stark truths like that about the Palestinian leadership not be raised in our Dail.

And the media columnists you cited are specifically chosen by their employers for having immoderate non-mainstream opinions (or at least purporting to hold such opinions).

Rather their function is to try and introduce perspectives to mainstream debate. But certainly they have never succeeded in introducing a genuinely Israeli perspective into the mainstream Irish discourse, let alone alter the terrorist supporting consensus institutionalised in our Dail.

The Israeli ambassador routinely gets a hearing in the Dail. There is a friends of Israel. So thats not it.

You seem to have decided that any lost argument never happened. Which is infantile.

The state of Israel does some very bag things. Palestine does some very bad things.

If you don't take into account that both sides engage in unacceptably nasty acts against the other, then the impulse is to dismiss your arguments, as it is biased.

It's not a case of one side having more moral right than the other, it's a case of one side being richer than the other. If you redistributed that wealth and the power that goes with it to the other side, there's absolutely no reason to think that the now richer side would not do exactly what has been done to them.

Yeah, in a manner. E.g. (extract from longer 2hr 'Irish Parliament seeks explanation from Israeli Ambassador for 2014 Gaza action' video)

If you watch the above, Boyd Barrett threw every cliche from the vile anti-Israel propaganda script at the ambassador, and it wouldn't matter what the ambassador ever said in response (he responded very well in the circumstances, actually). The minds of the likes of the Boyd Barretts are never for changing. Their stereotypes are set.

Their minds are already made up, they just want to go through the motions of directing their accusations at the ambassador. Boyd Barrett is just one of many, Fianna Fail, Sinn Fein, and more.

So there was a debate in the Oireachteas.

When you claimed earlier there wasn't, were you misinformed or just lying?

So, the above is what you consider 'debate' consists of.

That checks out actually, with your general demeanour on this forum.

The IDA will tell you that Israel is one of our biggest competitors for FDI. In America, the main rivals of the Irish American lobby are the Israeli Lobby.
We are in direct competition with Israel for jobs, business and money and influence. Other competitors are London, Singapore and Netherlands.
Palestine, Egypt and Jordan and Lebanon are not our competitors.
Yes we are engaged in economic warfare, but so are most other EU countries. Slán- nothing personal, it is about jobs really.

No young person will leave Gaza for one of these scholarships on merit. They'll have to be approved by Hamas first. WB not so much.
