How will Irish social conservatives react to the IMF’s suggestion that tax individualisation should be further extended along gender lines?

From the utterances of the likes of David Quinn & John Waters over the last year or so you would have thought that the IMF’s take on public spending decreases against tax increases would have been strongly ideologically in line with them but now they are confronted with the IMF’s take on one of their pet hates, tax breaks along gender lines.

What effects will this have on what had the potential to be a very cosy relationship?
