As we awaited the announcement that the mass-attack on the country music festival in Las Vegas was the work of some Muslim extremists...well some right-wing extremists.... well some political grouping....well some Jazz or Rock fans... or even Classical...
it turns out that the assailant was a 64 year old retired accountant. White and teamed up with a chinese lady.

Is this an outlier or the new face of terrorism?

Question is did he have any prior psychiatric condition and was he on any medication, many previous mass shooters shared this feature it will be interesting to see if this was the case with paddock.

The irony is that if he had been a Muslim there'd be a rush to declare him a lone wolf with mental health issues. But he's an elderly white middle class man so that means there must be some ''conspiracy''. All said and done, people are dead and people are injured and people who witnessed it will never feel safe again.

Nobody, yet. I'm just going on previous incidents, it's what usually happens. I'd say his brother is going to have to relocate, families of these sickos often end up on the receiving end of public anger and have their own lives destroyed.

What is ironic about it?

And unless he was making some political demand of the authorities, how exactly does it constitute terrorism?

It simply looks like another mass murder in the US.

If he had no political manifesto then it was not terrorism.

It sounds like he spent most of his time gambling in casinos.
I think it's been reported that he was a "professional gambler" whatever that is exactly. Usually they run the Casinos rather than frequent them as customers like the guy DeNiro played in the movie.

Brings me back to that Louis Theroux documentary on Vegas.
A real vacuous, empty way of life.

My money's on him being an anti Trumper.

This horrendous act will have a very serious motive. No doubt about it.

And if we 'don't find out' ever, you know it's being withheld deliberately.

I've always thought the difference between professional and compulsive gambler was that the former wins enough to stay in the game longer than the latter.
Doesn't mean the endings aren't the same though.

I can't see Alex Jones staying quiet about it.

A very simplistic piece of footage by a very simplistic moron.

There's way more to Vegas then the Strip/Gambling and hookers.

Way more.
