at least he has some Irish link, unlike the Islamic nuts that are currently allowed enter "our State"

Ah...the old sympathy for anyone of white Celtic Irish stock, no matter what they are now, or what they have done.

He is also an Islamist nut.

He is, but the ROI could still refuse to issue him with a ROI passport.
Correct.

— (1) The Minister shall refuse to issue a passport to a person if—

the person would be likely in the opinion of the Minister, after consultation, where appropriate, with the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform or the Minister for Defence or both, to engage in conduct that—
(i) might prejudice national security or the security of another state,
(ii) might endanger public safety or order,
(iii) would be contrary to the common good, or
(iv) might endanger that person or others,

He has changed in prison- anyway the Taliban were in the right in the war he fought in.
Were the sodomistic zionprods on the opposing side? Why do you support the Taliban against the Islamic front?

No the London-Washington-Tel Aviv axis were on the opposing side and the Taliban were fighting on their own territory. The Taliban are pretty psycho it has to be said however they were a lot less generally dodgy the indigenous warlords on the other side.

He probably has this romantic idea of Ireland as being full of plucky anti-colonial fighters and austere mystical Catholics. I still communicate regularly with a Russian girl who came here as a student with that impression. Needless to say she was rather disappointed.

Ireland is a pretty decent country with nice income and friendly people. But becoming "diverse"

You should not be allowed to stop an Irish citizen from coming to Ireland. If he is a genuine security risk then he can be arrested and tried, do you want to set a precedent where the government can decide what Irish citizens are allowed to live here?
Most certainly. If someone has obtained citizenship though descent we should absolutely deny them entry if they have a history of criminality or terrorist activity. Hopefully you don't believe people living in Ireland should be considered collateral damage in your quest for "fairness" to someone born, bred and reared in another country?

Have you inside information? Has he threatened the Irish state? What exactly is his threat to public safety and security?

Do dissident republicans not form a much larger threat? Should they be removed from the country?
So basically you are satisfied that we should welcome foreign terrorists simply because we have a few of our own! What a load of bull...,.
