Having made more U turns than a plumbing supplies manufacturer and pocketed more industry average 30 pieces than Judas, the bould Djarrygando aka dear leader for life, has begun instructing the cult disciples to hug an orangie...

"We need a new approach, one which unlocks unionist opposition to a new Ireland by reminding them of their historic place here and of the positive contribution they have made to society on this island," Mr Adams said.

"It also demands that we look at what unionists mean by their sense of Britishness and be willing to explore and to be open to new concepts," he said.

He added: "In particular, we need to address the future role of the Orange, its place in an agreed Ireland.

If Gerry Adams had the interests of all the Irish people at heart, he and his cult followers would emigrate to the Amazon jungle or somewhere else where we would never hear from them again

Beardy has had 60 plus years to come to this conclusion!
Also isn't it a huge fooking arrogance to think Southerners would want to put up with either mobs of tinkers from there!

Tina does look a bit George Gallowayish there - as do Mary Lou and R'Chelle....

How about a bit of goodwill from our side - teach them how to Walk - I know the excuse is that it is a result of the penal laws, but I saw one of their Easter Parades - they were all over the place.

So basically " dynamic " mean anything which fits in with a republican narrative. Everything else not so much.

Well, Gerry has to distract attention from the various failures .... NO UI by 2016, not only not in Government on both sides of the border they are now out of Government on both sides of the border that Gerry said he was going to get rid of by 2016 .... and hell, even though they took, by fair means or foul, all the nationalist seats in Westminster they have ended up strengthening the DUP's influence .....

He is right.

But Adams will never escape the fact that huge numbers of people will never be comfortable with his leadership precisely because of the death and destruction his friends were responsible for.

This is perfectly understandable human psychology and barely even reaches the level of a considered value judgement (even when expressed as such), as it operates on a more primal, instinctual, level.. hence the visceral reactions, the revulsion from some, the submissive adoring at the foot of the former warrior from others.

At this stage, Adams is probably an impediment to the kind of UI he seems to aspire to.

I haven't made my mind up yet whether the same can be said of the entire SF party!
