So the man who brought us the disaster that is Irish Water, Water Charges, Household Charge and Property Tax and rode roughshod through our local democratic structures is to be given a Civic Reception by Kilkenny County Council tomorrow?

The same man who was booed by supporters at a homecoming for the hurlers a couple of years ago is to receive the same honour as the great Kilkenny hurlers?

Well done Kilkenny County Councillors, or should that be well done Kilkenny FG Councillors?

:oops::oops:

Civic reception for Phil Hogan is "a slap in the face" for ordinary families dealing with his disastrous legacy - Kathleen Funchion | Sinn Féin

I bet they were "asked" by Big Phil to organise reception. Phil gets what he wants

I wonder if there will be a big hostile welcome for Philip.

You need to go over to the thread that you ran away from regarding Phil Hogan's friend, ex FG Minister Ml Lowry.
It's a week now or more, just suck it up & face the music.
Thanks in advance.

Kikenny will simply slide further down on any public service priority list, other than those directly interfered with by Hogan and FG.

The sheeple are slow to learn!

Sounds like the ideal location for an IW protest.

Actually any kind of protest.

Let's all give Big Fill another kind of "reception" :p

No
well clearly they aren't too interested in the notion that they represent the public, the local electorate.

I'll add that discretion of local authorities to exempt themselves from public scrutiny to a couple of other dodgy little corners in our emerging Republic. As matters that should be reformed by law.
