Paco Santos was laid off from Spain's biggest mattress manufacturer three years ago and has since started his own company, Descanso Santos Suenos. The new My Mattress Safe flies off the shelves in debt-ridden countries fueled by depositor fears over burden sharing attempts by local governments to break link between bank and sovereign. Meanwhile, Spain's PM insists savings under €100,000 are safe.

And here I was thinking 'bed safe' meant wearing a condom.

Jesus, I'm wondering about this. Apart from having a secret combination, a house safe is often placed in a secret hard-to-find location in one's home, because once the thieves get their hands on it, no matter how secure it is, they tend to be able to force entry and access its contents

Now here's a guy advertising the fact that the safe is probably in one of the household mattresses, and to make the thieves' job easier, the company logo is printed on a flap on the side of the mattress....

I think this guy is not being entirely serious, and may be trying to make some ironic post-modern comment on money and its use and abuse...

Yeah, there is that i suppose.
There's also my theory that this is a Germanic plot to steal all Spains money during Siesta and so make them slaves to the greater German Reich (EU). I think my theory will gain more traction with our little community.

I think you'll find that it's part of a combined German/westbrit/sheeple/Goldman Sachs/elites plot actually. And that he mass media are covering it up at the behest of our foreign masters. Thank god for the interweb!

We need our best men all over this right away. I call on Ribster and Analyzer to investigate this sinister development.
We can't rely on the lamestream media clearly. It may be a smokescreen to distact us from the impending war sparked by Costa Rico invading New Zealand.

I see the west-brits and the anti-lifers fingerprints all over this.

I wouldn't rule out Alan Shatter being involved either.

We might need The Field Mouse's more balanced take on it as well, particularly if there's a religious aspect.

There's a religious aspect to everything around here. And lets not be so fast to excuse immigrants from this, i'd say they have some explaining to do as well. We need Teletubby here. Its the ultimate P.IE inquiry. Ron Paul, Analyzer, Rommel and General Custer.
Can we afford such expertise?

Well! All bed savings can’t be robbed at the same time. But all savings in EU banks can!

Hmmm, interesting contribution. You want to join our commission of enquiry?

I've just noticed that the words 'Spain'and 'safe' both start with the letter 's'. As does 'squirrels'! Coincidence? I leave it to the inquiry......
