Absolutely massive victory if accurate -

The people of Ireland have decided to trust women

I have waited too long for this to take anything on trust.

May it be.

This is actually beyond belief. Apparently even Connacht-Ulster voted 59-41 Yes. The RCC is well and truly stuffed. It was almost worth waiting 35 years!!

It's going to be fun in the Dail trying to get the legislation through. 70% of FF TDs were against repeal. Many now thinking of their seats. Mary Lou the only party leader to put her face on a poster for the Yes side.

Not to sour things - but just to point out, there is a second exit poll later this evening.

And ballots still have to be counted.

BUT HELL YEAH!

Oh it'll pass alright, but I'm cynical it will be anything like bloody that.

Good to hear but let's see what the LLS exit poll says. Interesting that even rural Ireland bored yes with 60%.

Knew it would be massive when i talked to people at the polling station today. That coupled with the turnout was always going to mean Yes would win the day.
