I don't know how they've changed since earlier, but the odds now make Doherty a massive favourite, with O Domhnaill drifting out to be little higher than O'Neill.

very true, and a constituency so faithful to FF that they have never received anything from FF governments over the years - no need to as they are always faithful - semper fidelis. So they don't expect a lot and they couldn't care less about the rest of the country. So, it could be FF alright.
they have an airport subsidised by the government year in year out called donegal airport which in fact on serves about a 1/3 of the popul, ation of donegal

they have a bridge to nowhere which costs about 17million bult only a few years ago which again only serves a small amount of the population

have you driven around donegal and seen the houses that have been built there by local people a lot of whom only work the odd year and the rest of the time are on the dole and working and claiming and getting grants left right and centre for everything, they voting for them becasue they are the same as the politicians they voting for. they have no interest whatsoever in the state of the nation only what they can get., end of.

Doherty was 2/5 and O Domhnaill 7/4 at half nine this morning.

Doherty now 1/8 and O Domhnaill 9/2.

Somebody knows something, and it's very good for Pearse Doherty...

1/8? Sweet Jebus.

If this is true is there still time to add a running mate? :)

The last time I checked was a few days ago and the prices were the same on PaddyPower, just checked now though and O'Donnell has drifted to 9/2!. Have to say i'm very surprised by that

A poll that only shows first preferences is going to be all but useless here and no party is likely to be much above 35%. We need to see where the trasfers are going.

If O Domhnaill is out that much then he could be looking at finishing behind FG or Lab on the 1st count and that would be catastrophic for FF. That might be why they were thinking of releasing the 4 year plan early cos they were conceding the election.
