Interesting comments from KBC Ceo regarding the annoying way the Central Bank are still
investigating the Tracker scandal.

It does seem a bit much for a Central bank to be actually regulating the Banking industry and investigating
when they take money from customers.

Cant we return to the Celtic Tiger days when regulators and bankers had a better relationship.

Its not as if we had to rescue the private banks and pay for them for the rest of our lives.

You'd wonder how someone with such a high powered job lacks completely any self-awareness.
Isnt that part of the job description for a Bank Ceo ?

It really was surreal listening to the guy. Talk about total cluelessness and a total slap in the face to bank customers everywhere that the CEO would use such an appallingly disgusting abuse of its customers such as the tracker mortgage scandal to make a his point about regulatory environment. And from what I heard this morning on Newstalk, KBC bank are one of the worst offenders (at least in cleaning up their part in the scandal) in the tracker mortgage scandal.
