Lee Walsh launched his general election campaign this week. A strongly prolife financial advisor who is new to politics and has joined Renua.

Is anyone aware of him and/or think he has a chance of a seat?

I thought Renua was gone. You'd wonder why a new aspiring politician would join that outfit.

Speaking of which. Where's that git Hobbs. The nasty Hobbit.

Hobbs left... along with Timmins, Power, McKee and many others...

Not sure if Creighton is even a rank and file member now.

Walsh seems quite conservative so the newly rebranded prolife anti-immigration Renua suits him well.

Unless he has a strong personal profile he has little chance - possible that if a referendum is coming up he might get a pro-life vote but the reality has been that the electorate don’t take the issue into account either way when voting.

He needs to get on the council and put in some local graft I would suggest.

Good point... Renua seem most focused on Dail seats. I'm enjoying following them post Lucinda.
