Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan has been meeting the Opposition Spokespersons on Finance this afternoon to brief them on government discussions about the Budget.

Mr Lenihan contacted Fine Gael's Michael Noonan and Labour's Joan Burton and asked them to attend a meeting at the Department today.

It follows lengthy Cabinet discussions on the Budget today.

To be honest is there a choice?
Yes... not to.

Standing up for ourselves.

Pushing back.

If we default default we can take most of europe down - lets use that as a bargaining position.

I see Sinn Fein are excluded again.......because they agree with the ESRI?

Labour are so unwilling to do anything that may annoy Fine Gael.

Muppets.
