Their actions were criminal, terrorism is criminal, murder is criminal and the people responsible were criminals.
On the other hand the desire for Irish unification is a perfectly respectable one, the plan was always to separate the two, and that is what happened.
And the UK govt gave in partially to their demands.

Grow the **** up. The UK is going to cut the North loose and they won't give a shit. How silly does that make you feel?

Let's leave what you think might happen to one side for the moment and consider what has already happened shall we?
The so-called "armed struggle" failed utterly, as it was always going to. The Provisional IRA is no more and republicans now pursue their agenda purely through politics. Meanwhile, Northern Ireland remains part of the UK.

How silly does that make YOU feel?
