I used to go to school by the mint up in Sandyford. You would see this regularly enough. Not often 3 choppers, but sometimes 2. They'd trundle past with the army trucks and then a few big cash lorries.

Maybe with the QE they're powering up the presses.

We don't know yet what or why, but one of Joe's eyes on the ground said it was being brought TO the mint in sandyford, not from.

Also the same lady said that she had seen money trucks before, but that these ones have soft sided walls on the trucks, leading her to conclude thaqt it may be printing machines.

If this the punt nua/euro nua whatever, they should have really done this in the dead of night.

At least 30 vehicles involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would printing presses, for a not yet issued currency i.e. not legal tender, require an escort?
