Parental custody - Courts do not give custody to fathers generally.

Rape - Before 2013 the FBI definition of rape only included women. Male sexual assault is off the charts but seriously under reported. 1 in 6 boys/men are sexually assaulted.
usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/story/2012-01-06/fbi-rape-definition-adds-men/52398350/1

Incarceration - 6 times more Men get convicted more and serve 63% more time for the same offences over women. Not talked about.

Violence - Bobbit style attacks are celebrated or mocked. police assaults, campus violence. Men are more likely to be targeted by violence before the age of 1 year of age. 40% of domestic violence victims are men.

Internet Harassment - Males are more like to suffer this. Men receive more threats online. Male public officials receive 6 times more abuse than female public officials.

Lack of cancer research - Prostate cancer is twice the killer of breast cancer but receives less than half the funding that breast cancer does. 1 in 8 women get breast cancer, 1 in 6 men get prostate cancer. Men also get breast cancer. Men are usually excluded from breast cancer screening clinics.

Employee health risks - 92% of workplace deaths are men. Men die in the workplace at a rate of 20:1. V

Global mockery of mens issues - Mens rights and Mens issues platforms are routinely dismissed and mocked. There are many issues that disproportionately affect men; family courts, divorce, alcoholism, substance abuse, homelessness, imprisonment, fines etc it is not misogynistic to talk about these issues nor to seek a platform to raise same.

Education - Girls are getting better grades and are more likely to get university/college places. Schools do a much better job educating girls than boys. Boys have fallen behind girls in everyone of the 70 developed nations according to the UN.

Suicides - Male suicide rates have alwqays been far higher than women, But relatively even the male suicide crisis of a decade ago the cuurent suicide rates are exploding compared to 10 years ago. Between the UK and US over 4 men commit suicide every hour. 41% of men surveyed felt that they couldn't talk about their feelings.

These issues need attention. If government and feminists ignore these issues then mothers and fathers must take it upon themselves to make society a fairer place for their sons

It will be interesting to see the response of our resident gender equality merchants to this issue. It might even afford them an opportunity to refute the accusation that they're just a bunch of man haters.

Today's European men need to man up and protect their womenfolk. In Germany and Sweden today Native women and children can't walk the streets for fear of being raped and murdered by migrants - and all the while European men are looking into their navels wondering if their views are politically correct enough. And we aren't far behind in Ireland.

I have as little time for men's groups as I have for women's groups , the last thing we need is more whinging 'victims'. We hear enough of that from the feminists without hearing it from another group.

But how can they block a movie just because they do not like the subject?

I wouldn't compare the 2 , one is an ideology (feminists) the other just wants laws balanced so one sex isn't favoured over the other in the legal system

well that's feminists for you, they have form for closing down men's groups , there seems to be a hatred of men getting together to discuss their issues or maybe trying to clarify some feminist rethoric

Just to be clear in my own simple mind....what, does the feminist ideology seek that differentiates from men's movements?

Misandry within the feminist movement gave birth to masculinism. Some right-wingers prefer to mock males standing up for their rights than offer the sex and gender equality which feminists demand for women. Men experience rape, intimidation, harassment, violence, anxiety, depression and suicide like women. But if a man dares voice his legitimate concerns and protestations he's labelled weak/effeminate/unmanly, then shunned and ignored.

Equality must extend to the male of the species, otherwise equality is just a meaningless conceptual buzzword.

I'm OK with that, as long as it's not used to detract from/invalidate, grievances by 'the female of the species'

Fukwits like you are the reason reasonable women are afraid to consider men's rights issues. They fear that these issues will be used to attack women and other disadvantaged groups...

As am I. Although it is usually the other way round, whereby men are not allowed express grievances.

FBI changes definition of rape to include men

P - Men beat and abuse kids at a far higher level than women.

R - Rape is a male thing to do in the most part. Some studies say 90% of rape is committed by men.

I - Men commit more crimes so that makes sense.

V - Men are far more likely to commit violent acts.

I - Who are making the threats? Other men.

L - Cancer isn't a male of female issue.

E - Men are attracted to more dangerous roles.

G - Mens rights freaks attack women all the time, they use the word feminists as a cover word.

E - Maybe women are smarter generally.

S - More women attempt suicide but men are more successful if that's the correct term to use.

Yet another thread about the poor men. Why won't the womens leave us alone????? :-(

You sick freak, what are you complaining about? In another thread you claimed that women enjoyed being raped and fantasise about it.
