So, either LFB were negligent in their duties or that's what the men in the suits told them to say. Which is it? Because if it is the former heads should have rolled and they haven't been seen to yet.
I believe there is still an inquiry ongoing.

Some of these desert/bush peoples have been known to start fires on the open floor for cooking purposes.
It is their cultural practice.

Well, surprise surprise. who would have guessed that the hotel was used to house these invaders.

There are some very odd comments on this thread.

This Field Marshall looks to be a rum sort. Is he a parody account or joke I don't understand?

Yep it seesm as if FMs theory may hold some water. However even if it is true would it ever be published?

Ballymun residents? Not one of them Irish nor European ffs, perhaps Bashirs Mrs looks east European but thats it..

Hope they got sorted out with a roof over their heads but it's strange that the only people in the vid are not Irish. Did the media ignore everyone Irish person affected by the blaze or did they just randomly select the foreign brigade for being the only newsworthy story Ted?
Maybe there were no Irish people living there at all.

The Field Marshal was spot on on this occasion, and no, it would never be published.

Don’t worry, black man will be sorted out, he will not want for anything even if it means that some unfortunate homeless Irish person have to go back to the bottom of the housing queue yet again.

Race hate palpable off this lad. Did the racists succeed in blaming immigrants for this fire?

A Dublin City Councillor - Noeleen Reilly

They are being advised to find accommodation in a student complex following last week's blaze.

They must pay a weekly fee of €205 up front for the duration of their stay, while also paying a €150 deposit.

"There has been no assistance as far as I can see from the State whatsoever in helping any of these families," said Cllr Reilly.

Imagine your home goes up in flames & that of your 29 neighbours and you lose everything. Imagine the Gov of that Country offering no help at all, not even visting you to see where you ok, now being told that you need to find €205 a week to rent a student apartment.
