I see the Mick Healy Rae fanboy Listowel has nothing to say about Mick's ownership of the now provision centre.

Its great to see the locals standing up to MHR, the pic in the article speaks volumes about space, looks like it should be converted into a single PDH and the way pubs are these days the liquor license ain't worth much.

"The Skellig Star was not fit for purpose as a direct provision centre, Mr Fitzpatrick also said and the community and those residing there want it closed".

MHR had the inside track all the way and with a Govt contract now in his back pocket, it will be buy the joint off us or cough up compo.

"All three had contested the matter.
Judge David Waters convicted them and handed down suspended prison sentences.
The judge sentenced Jackie Healy-Rae to eight months in prison, Kevin Healy-Rae to seven months, and Malachy Scannell to six months, and suspended the sentences".

So the poor little craturs are not happy with the lean suspended sentences already received, with a bit of luck, fresh eyes will remove the suspended bit and give all 3, 12 months inside, have them removed from the Court forthwith.

Messes with their travel prospects. That kind of conviction will deny them visas/estas to certain countries.

No harm in that, not exactly the type of young Irish males anyone would want reflecting an image abroad, in their case "privileged".

The Healy-Raes have the ability to twist the cap backward and step into the quantum world and then back out when the bullet has passed. They had to be stopped from doing it in Inter Cert Maths.

Everyone in Kerry knows this so unless yer man the proposed assassin was some sort of quantum physicist ninja he'd no chance at all, shur.

MHR had his name in bold letters down the side of the car, it's like an open invitation to come on up and say hello or whatever is on your mind, he might get away with in down in Kerryville but cannot expect the same adoration anywhere else.

The Judge also over favoured him.

no politician, FF, FG. SF, Lab, Ind, Green etc etc should be subjected to threats. we are entitled to criticise their policies, their politics and their actions however they should not be subjected to threats of violence

The Healy-Raes go ballistic

"The Healy-Rae brothers took to their feet and engaged in a full throated shouting match with Fianna Fáil’s Marc McSharry in 2018.

As last night’s row showed, few issues rile TDs as much as Dáil speaking rights and Mr MacSharry took issue with Michael Healy-Rae getting up to speak as the Dáil implemented a short-lived number card system for whose turn it is.

Mr Healy-Rae insisted he had a card but Mr MacSharry chipped in: “We have 44 Deputies here but we have... Ban Ki-Moon Healy-Rae up every day, undermining this country's…” Mr Healy-Rae roared back “this is outrageous” and his brother Danny roared “Don’t call us names” and “we will take no rubbish from Deputy MacSharry”.

As the Healy-Raes went ballistic, Mr MacSharry poured fuel on the flames quipping: “This is a joke. It is ‘Strictly Come Dancing’” – a reference to the number cards – “and they are the half-time performers.” The Leas Cheann Comhairle told him to “control yourself” to which Mr MacSharry replied: ” For Christ's sake, control them.” The Dáil, unsurprisingly, ended up being suspended"

They truly are an embarrassment to themselves, the pic shows them behaving at if they were at a football match and shouting at the ref or opposition supporters.

Kerry must be so proud of them as they rip the system and anything/body that comes near them.
