Taoiseach entertains the clowns

Healy-Rae's meet Taoiseach, Independent | MyLocalNews.ie - Keep Informed, Stay Connected !

While recognizing the terrible financial situation our Country is in they were adamant South and South West Kerry will not be forgotten and left behind but will continue to be kept their constancy at the forefront as always.

With the cost of state borrowing at an all-time high and the EU/IMF on the M50, Cowen spends the morning fallating this atrocious bogman and his equally atrocious off spring.

Is it any wonder the rest of Europe treat us with such impunity?

The stupid bog trotting plebs, who ever heard of politicians doing their best to exert every ounce of their power and influence in order to get the best for the people who elect them?

I don't like the Healy-Rae's, but I think their some of the best politicians in the country. Some of the most honest anyway.

He is just doing what the people of Kerry voted him to do no matter how you or I feel about it, and making sure the Healy-Rae empire rolls on so his off spring can rightfully take their God given place at the trough in Dublin where they don't take any ************************e from those Dublin feckers who try to impose their D4 will on the good people of Kerry. "Is this going out on radio Kerry cause its no good if its not"

@Ethan Edwards - you are dead right. He is doing exactly what the people of South Kerry elected him to do and no matter how right or wrong we view it in the National sense has no bearing on that fact.
He is entitled to do everything in his power to enhance the prosperity of South Kerry and its up to everybody else in the Dail to do likewise for their constitutents.
Right or wrong that is how our system operates and until that is changed we will continually be dealing with pothole politicans.

I'm not so much blaming the Healy-Rae's for their ways. They are what they are - condecending, back country hicks with contempt for their country.
I'm more so blaming Brian Cowan for debasing himself and the office of Taoiseach by grovelling with them when the economic sovereignty of the state hangs by a thread.

Because he is the hair-covered by the cap-apparent. The country is falling apart and Cowen sees fit to waste his time talking to these excuses for politicians to see what their price is for supporting his discredited Govt.It is quite frankly apalling that the Govt has a secret deal with Healy Rae and Lowry apparently acceptable to the Greens and that this unholy alliance is creating a situation where reputable people in the international markets and reputable stockbrokers at home are calling for an election to create a respite for us to enable us to get our house in order.

This is the game of politics in this country, nothing new here. If SF were in the position of FF they would do the exact same. Cowens job now depends on the Independents and if my job was dependant on the Healy-Rae's I would also spare them a bit of time.

I'd say Healy-Rae jnr & the bull will be comfortably returned in the GE by the denizens of S Kerry.

Of course they are gombeens...but ( and this is the crucial thing ) they have been seen to have delivered the goods for their constituency and that's all that matters.

Gombeen politics at it's greatest... nero fiddling while rome burns etc...shows exactly what sort of leader Cowen is,you would swear by listening to Healy Rae that Kerry was on a par with Somalia in the poverty levels.... muppets all.....

this whole system is defunct no matter what side of the spectrum they come from..we should sweep the whole lot of them away and start again...

Let the army run the country for 12 months in the meantime with EU help...

When Tony Gregory was doing these kind of deals, he was a hero to many in Dublin.

The only thing that is different is the accent.

I have always said it's not the banks, it's not the developers it is the electorate who are most to blame for this crisis and the continued presence of this family of bog trotters is further proof of this.

And who are the TDs elected to represent your constituency?

Only asking so people here can judge you the same way you have just condemned the ordinary folk of South Kerry.

Healy-Rae is only doing exactly what he told the people who elected him he would do on their behalf - can the same be said of every other TD in the Dail?

It is now time for the government to bring in a constitutional amendment to restrict the franchise to those inside the Pale or in Dublin South who know how to vote "the right way". After all, voters in Kerry, Tipperary, Offaly and Donegal tend to vote for people who are not politically correct.

Dublin Northside voters might also be on a yellow card. Their record is not great !.

If this amendment is passed the Labour party might reach their rightful place as the largest in the Dail !!
