So Mike Flynn only copped to one charge, and thus didn't get protection against his other exposures...a very strange plea deal on both sides

Lawfare, Dec 2017: The Unsolved Mystery of Michael Flynn’s Plea Deal
The reason is the plea’s narrowness compared to the astonishing swath of public allegations of potentially criminal conduct on Flynn’s part. Reputable newspapers had reported Flynn’s failure to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, failures to disclose foreign contacts as required on his security clearance forms, large transactions with foreign actors, involvement in a strange influence-peddling scheme over nuclear plants, and even involvement in a kidnapping plot. Press accounts have indicated that Flynn’s son Michael Flynn Jr. also had exposure and that protecting his son was a priority for the elder Flynn. Yet the plea itself was limited. It was only one count for a set of false statements to the FBI. Not a good look for Flynn, to be sure, but far less than what most observers were expecting.
Now both sides have asked for a further two month delay:
https://mobile.twitter.com/ZoeTillman/status/991419933774024705

I, as with Wittes and Hennessy, lean towards their theory 3:
Bharara speculates — as an alternative to the McCarthy theory — that perhaps prosecutors are not ready to bring the larger case implicating others just yet. Maybe they are deferring prosecution of Flynn on this larger matter on the theory that a guilty plea on his part now would create an untoward public taint toward those named but not yet charged and that a sealed indictment would likely leak.
And they said
All of which is to say that there’s something about the Flynn plea that doesn’t make sense. There’s something important going on here that is not in the public documents and that the press has not reported. We don’t purport to know what it is. Mystery reigns.
Today's buying time again favours theory 3

So who will Flynn sell out ?

My money is on Kushner...perhaps Don Jnr re Syria/Paris ...or maybe he has goods on Bannon/Manafort

A big reveal is coming... today's filing only asked for two months...

<edit 12.Jun:
The pleas / co-operation of Pinedo & Papadopoulos are also due by end June 2018

Pinedo the data/identity launderer, will certainly expose some US citizens and a lot more besides

Papadopoulos is somewhat mysterious, not clear what he will say re Mifsud

I think this prosecution is in trouble. The judge who authorised the FISA warrant was also due to preside at his trial until he was recused. And it emerged recently that Judge Contreras was involuntarily recused. There has been speculation in Fox that Flynn may recant his confession.

So Flynn entered into a very broad ranging plea agreement, covering informing any criminality he knew of, wearing a wire if asked ...yet 6 months later, still no sentence

As Flynn has likely supplied everything by now, the holdup is likely on Mueller's side, with the indictments on the other people not yet being ready

We get to find out soon...

I reckon the interview needs to be held before the Flynn reveal

Tight schedule

Which has nothing to do with Russian collusion.
I think you may need to re/read the Steele Dossier...

https://washingtonpress.com/2018/05/11/a-qatari-spy-just-got-caught-bragging-about-a-payoff-to-trump-campaign-member/

New evidence reveals Mike Flynn was bribed by a Qatari spy. Qatar was involved in the oil deal outlined in the Steele Dossier.

A federal court filing in Los Angeles claims that agents of Qatar gave a payoff to Flynn.
The public evidence is scant to date, will see

Also Mike's GRU connections are off the charts...and his Turkish connections are also problematic, will see re Qatar

You really need to read the story, Enda, its quite something.

What started this affair is a lawsuit that Rapper IceCube and his partner in the Big 3 Basketball league filed against Sports Trinity, a Qatari investment vehicle for defamation. Information emerged about Flynn when one of the Qataris was looking to get into contact with Steve Bannon. Do read the article I posted.

Depending on the timing of any payments to Flynn, it could be a link to the Steele dossier. The Dossier outlined a giant Russian oil privatisation scheme in which Qatar Investment Authority purchased nearly 20% of the state-run oil company Rosneft. This was brokered by trump associates.

The end result allowed Russia to trade stolen emails to help Trumps election campaign in exchange for help circumventing American sanctions to transact the sale of Rosneft, which Putin desperately needed to finance his budget deficit.

So yes, collusion.

Team Mueller have said they expect to be able to provide a substantive update about Flynn's plea deal/sentencing by 29th June

That was a 2 month deferral instead of the 3 they could have asked for

Manafort's trials begin soon, discovery ...

Big reveals due, Trump's tweets show his fear:

https://saraacarter.com/what-happened-during-the-fbi-interview-with-flynn/

......FBI Special Agent Joe Pientka, if subpoenaed, will provide testimony regarding the circumstances surrounding his interview with former National Security Advisor Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, sources with knowledge have been telling this reporter for more than a year.......Pientka, who has never spoken to a journalist, according to several sources with knowledge, is expected to speak to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee if subpoenaed to discuss the circumstances regarding his role in the investigation into Flynn and the interview that he was a part of at the White House on Jan. 24, 2017. Highly classified information regarding Flynn’s conversation with Kislyak was leaked to columnist David Ignatius of the Washington Post in January, which spurred the controversy around Flynn and eventually led to his firing by the White House in February, 2017............

Yet another similar deadline, tick-tock !

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/389761-mueller-moves-toward-sentencing-for-california-man-in-russia-probe
“The parties respectfully request that the Court refer this case for the preparation of a pre-sentence investigation report,” according to the new court filings, which requested that the parties provide a joint status report by a June 28 deadline.

"Defense counsel for Mr. Pinedo has reviewed and agreed with this report," read the documents, which were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Timing:

Flynn, Pinedo and Papadopoulos pleas are due to be mentioned by the end of June

In previous filings, the State & the defendants indicated they were ready to progress to sentencing

Meaning that the co-operation has yielded its results

The Manafort pre trial crap is playing out in Berman's court - and the trial in Ellis's court is now due 25th July

Mueller has been very busy sucking up everything got to do with Stone recently

Cohen is also due indictments soon, both by Mueller, & in the SDNY

The US Department of Justice made an interesting reveal to Congress today - their task force re Foreign influence in elections, will publish mid July - including policy for prosecutions

The entire layer under Trump is now being cooked, a brace of co-ordinated indictments & raids is due

Within the next 8 days status reports are due for these 3 cases:

Pinedo
Flynn
Papadopoulos

All 3 have plea agreements and in their respective last status reports, both sides indicated they were ready to enter sentencing process at next appearance

Now obviously the co-operation agreements can still be kept under seal, but moving to sentencing means the co-operation has proved fruitful...and thus it will be a tactical decision by Mueller if he wishes to do a reveal

Expected reveals:

Pinedo: many indictments against a few US entities and a good few more Russian entities (Pinedo was an identity and data mongerer)

Papadopoulos: not a gargantuan amount, but...his evidence will put Manafort, Kushner & Don Jnr in very tricky places. Also...it is not clear if he has stuck to his plea agreement, Mifsud/Halper...

Flynn: the crown jewels... I for one...relish that Erik Prince seems to go down as collateral damage here
