That horrible little man Minister Noonan moans that the low uptake of private pensions is major cause of concern for the Government:roll:

Low take-up of private pensions a cause for concern – Noonan - Pensions, Personal Finance - Independent.ie
Low take-up of private pensions a cause for concern – Noonan
"THE relatively low take-up of private pensions is a major concern for the Government, Finance Minister Michael Noonan has said."

This is the Minister who in a "legal" act of theft, stole and abused the Pension Levy, it didn't matter if private pensions he "stole" from were in deficit or not he thieved from them anyway. What a two faced political hypocrite! He doesn't care a whit about the damage his act of "legal" theft created

After public sector pensions were cut and private pensions raided extra money was put in the banks pension scheme.

Is this a pincer movement?..

Labour recently discusses introducing mandatory private pension schemes for all employees.

Noonan discusses his concern over low-uptake of private pensions.

He's very popular amongst people who understand arithmetic. Sadly this rules out most on this site - including you.

Though no fan of FG I am heartily sick of the McCole issue being thrown into every thread regarding Noonan, regardless of the thread topic. Discuss it in on an appropriate thread, please.

Lets hope Mr Noonan has the ability to get a decent deal on our bank debt

and not try, another 3 card trick like last year, or pass the burden to future generations,

When children grow up, they realise there are contradictions in life.

The same will happen to the opening poster in time.

All countries pass on debt to those future generations, as will our future generations. Its easier to pay it off that way - our future generations will do exactly the same.

I don't know when he became a horrrible little man but between 1994 and 1997 as Minsiter of Health he treated Bridget McCole and her family with a level of contempt which would have made a person with morals resign.

Whatever about thec past, we have to stand with him for the next twoi months

We are bad enough paying off someone elses debt in our own lifetime,

However, we cannot allow this shameful debt be passed on to future generations;

Let's see what kind of a deal he negotiates before we decide to stand by him or not. If he treated the ECB/EU in the manner which he treated sick and dying people in the past we would have a good deal by now. I can envisage a cr@p deal with Noonan (an grab-all Gilmore) spinning for weeks to fool us into thinking we have a good deal.
