We can't of course... but how many people will get wrecked in the machine as it attempts to preserve its power through debt...

I think a lot of people are starting to wake up, but, unfortunately, they are still hoping against hope that Fine Gael \ Labour can change everything without changing anything. As Robespiere put it, Irish people want the revolution without the revolution.

The delusion regarding GDP contraction is fairly astonishing.

That the government can predict growth during the implementation of the most sever austerity package the developed world has ever seen is mental.

The economy is going to shrink further folks, that's what's going to happen. Can we even struggle on to 2013?
