The erection of British Army flags by loyalists across parts of Derry and Belfast has been deemed “inappropriate, irresponsible and disrespectful”.

Several Parachute Regiment flags have been flown in unionist parts of the north, some were even hoisted in the loyalist Fountain estate close to the Bogside, where the Bloody Sunday killings took place. Bizarrely the offensive flags went up to coincide with Sons and Daughters City of Culture launch concert.

It comes as a further embarrassment to flag protestors as in April the Royal British Legion scolded the DUP for politicizing the the cenotaph as it sough to erect the Union flag over the cenotaph permanently as a direct response to the Alliance amended motion restricting the number of days the flag could fly over the city hall in Belfast.

The MOD said:

“The improper use of regimental flags, emblems, motiffs is not only contrary to the high standards demanded and promoted within the armed forces but also inappropriate, irresponsible and disrespectful to the men and women serving with distinction”.

In recent days, Bill Hill, a member of Willie's mob has been photographed erecting Parachute Regiment flags in north Belfast. These are the same people accusing nationalist residents of Ardoyne of stoking up tensions before the 12th of July...

They were willing to turn on the crown if the monarch was allowed to marry a Catholic, attack officers of the crown (including trying to burn them alive as well as shooting at them), disrespect the wishes of the greater part of the U.K. by bastardising their flag for their own ends, disrespect the fallen in a petty dispute, try to hijack Poppy Day for their own ends and now this.

In the panorama of the U.K. they sit on the same level of the EDL (and we've seen the links during the fleg dispute) and we know how the vast amount of G.B. citizens feel about them, especially armed forces charities.

Is the flying of the Parachute Reg flag a new thing ; a result of losing the City Hall flag vote?

Remember this - " The families of two soldiers killed at Massereene Barracks almost three years ago have intervened in a row over how their sons will be remembered. A group of loyalist bands wanted to mark the third anniversary of their deaths with a parade through the town. The Azimkar and Quinsey families said on Thursday that they did not want the parade "

I would agree with the MOD.
So do I.

This presents a perfect opportunity for the Israelis to step up and insist that their flag too be immediately removed from unionist ghettos. There is nothing more disrespectful than seeing the flag of an accomplished nation dangle limply and tattered from a lampost in a drug infested Irish sh$thole.

Thought so. What, do you think, stunt would the shinners have pulled if they'd lost that vote? If you get my drift.
You really are dumb, SF did lose the vote, hence the hounding, burning of offices and attacks on the Alliance Party.
