They considered themselves at war with Britain, something I don't support. They didn't go to make Britain and Catholic Irish extension. At least compare like with like, oh wait..you can't because no other religion tries to subjugate others the way that Islam does. Only today Erdogan called on Turks living abroad to have more children and reading between the lines, to begin to try to achieve a Caliphate.
They? Are you not Irish?

You do realise the question was the US or OZ ?
The UK was oddly not a foreign country, although the IRA was fighting to make it so.
Oh my goodness, how silly of me :O
He knew that. But he wanted to try a guilt trip anyway.
How perceptive

This clown was yet another in a long line of small time criminals who, having failed in everything else, turned to radicalism. And still, he couldn't even get that right.
If only he joined the Hari Khrishnas and decided to spend the rest of his life singing and wearing bright coloured clothing.

But I suppose if he did that there would be religious experts calling for him to be murdered as an example to kepp others in line.

Lille shooting: Gunman opens fire at metro station in northern France, reports of multiple injuries

Published time: 24 Mar, 2017 22:10Edited time: 24 Mar, 2017 23:09
At least three people, including a minor, have reportedly been injured in the city of Lille after a gunman opened fire near the central Porte d’Arras metro station. A heavy police presence is reported at the scene.

Witnesses heard at least five shots fired in central Lille late on Friday, local outlet La Voix du Nord reported.
The injured reportedly included a 14-year-old teenager, who was shot in the leg. Another person has suffered a neck injury and has been hospitalized.
The motive behind the shooting was not immediately clear. The shooter has reportedly escaped the scene. Multiple police and emergency service vehicles have been dispatched and police have cordoned off the area.
Police said they do not consider the case to be terror-related, France Bleu Nord reported. Officers found about 10 bullet shells on the scene, the outlet said.

Media seem to be slow reporting on it. It's way down on the Sky news newsfeed. Makes you wonder if they fear coverage will spur Marine Le Pen.

Police suspect a gas leak according to RTÉ.ie

RTE News today said another protest in Paris 'against the cost of living' - hahaha

They just cannot tell the truth - not credible anymore.

Note to RTE - the protests are against the EU and open borders - get your 'reporters' up to speed.

OFFICIAL GOVT STATEMENT
Minister Flanagan and Minister Stanton agree to invite unaccompanied minors to Ireland in solidarity with Malta

Notes for editors

Ireland has agreed to accept these unaccompanied minors in a gesture of solidarity and humanitarian assistance with Malta. They are part of a total of 298 migrants who have disembarked in Malta following Search and Rescue (SAR) missions in the Mediterranean.

Under the Irish Refugee Protection Programme (IRPP), Ireland has agreed to accept up to 4,000 asylum seekers and refugees overall into Ireland at the earliest time possible. Since 2015, 2,159 asylum seekers and refugees have been admitted to Ireland under the IRPP, by way of relocation from Greece or resettlement from Lebanon under the UNHCR-led programme. This includes the Syrian families resettled from Lebanon last month.

Tusla – the Child and Family Agency, has statutory responsibility for the care of unaccompanied minors in the State.
