Just wondering........

Wih the spy ring stories continuing, I'm sure it has not been lost on us that if the British Government have infiltrated the Sinn Fein/IRA negotiating ranks surely they have/have tought of the others aswell.

So any suggestions of a Td or Senator who may be a british agent?

The CIRA doesn't have a Third Dáil.

For that matter, neither does the Republic (which is the only entity that could have one). The Third Dáil hasn't yet been convened.

You'd think that the Army Council might try and arrange to have it convened, if they were that concerned about the Irish people, and didn't want to leave us all in this indefinite limbo.

Without the Third Dáil, it's like Narnia around here - always winter, but never Christmas. Will this nightmare never end*?

*Good news, friends: Mr. Beaver whispered to me today "Risteard is on the move".

It is obvious who the garda agent is. A more interesting question would be what leading shinners are not agents of some sort or another. The aim of an agent is to work to the agenda of those who it is the pay of. SF are in the pay of the British parliament and the free state political institutions and work to their political agendas. In short all shinners who agree with the current PSF policy are agents of FS or the Brits in one way or another. Just an observation but how is getting paid from instituions you claim as illegitimate through your bank account any different than from getting paid by them in a hotel carpark

Well the Gardas files conerning the Dublin Monaghan massacre just somehow disappeared in their entirety from Garda custody last year . Their entirety , no less .

Not a single Garda has been arrested , sacked or disciplined . Apart from a very few lone voices the TDs and senators arent overly concerned . A few may even be quite relieved . McDowell is pretty unconcerned about it and nobodys being grilled or sweated . This would indicate that either senior Garda and politicians dont want to embarass British intelligence , so much so that they are prepared to overlook such trifling matters as the mass murder of Dublin civilians and the criminal act of destroying confidential files related to mass murder . Or that British intelligence has the southern establishment infiltrated as badly as the provo leadership .

For decades prior to the files being removed in their entirety the biggest mass murder in the states history was ignored , and even the victims found themselves harassed by Garda special Branch . Which is just a little odd . Odd too that on Fianna Fail assuming power in the mid 70s Garda commissioner Ned Garvey was sacked on the spot with no explanation nor any protest from the boul Ned .

According to MI5 operative Fred Holroyd the souths politicians and police at the highest level were riddled with agents during his period , and during his many unofficial visits to Dublin in the 70s he had plenty of experience in dealing with them . One example of this is the case of the notorious Garda detective John McCoy , codenamed the badger .
McCoy openly admitted in newspaper interviews what his activities were and no disciplinary action was taken agaist him . This was widely viewed as a public threat to start telling the papers some serious stuff about British agents if action was ever taken .
Whats really disturbing is the case of Irish army commandant Paddy Trears who claims one sunday morning McCoy arrived at his home in Kildare unannounced . In tow with him was a British intelligence officer . The British officer attempted to recruit Trears as an agent but he declined and then reported the matter to his superiors . This attempt came only weeks after the Dublin Monaghan bombings and the British intelligence officer named by Trears is a prime suspect in being one of the architects of the atrocity . Yet hes swanning round the south in the company of a Garda detective trying to recruit British agents from the states forces ? And no action taken against that Garda - ever ?
The infamous CJ Haughey once commented on such affairs and stated famously " partition has cast long shadows into every aspect of Irish life" .. CJ knows all about the dark dealings at the heart of the state , its about time everyone else got to know about them too .

Not so sure about that? Did he not sue the State afterwards?

Anyway the Garda SB was openly passing information to the RUC (and from them to 'others' ) and holding regular meetings with them since the Anglo Irish Agreement of 1985.

Yeah let's have a witch hunt ! :D (Suspect that while Mary Harney is working for Weight Watchers she may in fact be a double agent who's also working for McDonald's?)

Precisely. Why is David allowing this? All it takes is for one eejit to say in a matter of fact manner that such and such a fella is an informer, and we're into the whole libel area.

British agents operating among our TD's must be charged with treason. The curse of Cromwell be upon them.
