The State is beginning to look incapable of ensuring community security while these lads are walking around with weapons. The Gardaí need a dedicated gangland unit tasked with tracking down these people with a shoot to kill policy if needs be.

What will that achieve?

No one seriously injured, looks like it is Kinahan Hutch related again. The Kinahans are intent in wiping out every Hutch associate to ensure there is no one left to take revenge.

The Gardai have intercepted a few Hutch assassination attempts while they were still in the planning stage , confiscating weapons etc. It is likely they have an informer who is close to Hutches. They do not seem to have any Intel on the Kinahans.

Hutch was/is very supportive of the sport of boxing and he's given a lot of money and sponsorship to his boxing local club. It's likely therefore that someone connected to him was attending the stadium for the finals tonight.

RTE say one of the injured is an American student who was an innocent bystander and was injured in the wrist in the cross fire.

One of the targets(well known to Gardai) was shot in the foot.

No life threatening injures.

The Garda used to act as security for Mansfields heroin importation operation.

Youse haven't a clue Gerty dons his Sherlock Holmes hat and enlightens us that there may be a connection between boxing and the criminal underworld..

lets reward these criminals in prison with education, free lunch , a bank account, welfare, little foodie extras, computers and a gym with tv and entertainment........Lets provide them with key workers, social workers and other services they might ''need'', sure didn't the kinahan kingpin educate himself in Arabic while in an irish prison...? says it all :)
Sounds good...why aren't we all signing up?

Precisely, so why wasn't the stadium surrounded by police?

After the Regency hotel, they said they had no intel, but yet the journalists were there...

I find it astonishing that in such a tiny city that this amount of gangland killings can operate?
FG and the Gardai are too busy covering up and spinning to address crime which is out of control in certain parts of Dublin. I know of two different housing estates which are run by drug cartels and one by republicans. The Gardai will threaten to go out on strike breaking the law to garner a pay rise but take two days to attend the scene of a robbery of a 82 year old man.

FG's Ireland.
