A courageous decision which we would do well to follow.
Muslim and non-Muslim women in the Netherlands can now breathe more easily knowing that another chain of male subjugation of women has been thrown off. Secularists can breathe more easily knowing that Holland's secular traditions - upon which its tradition of tolerance largely depends - are more secure than they were yesterday.
