Publish long-awaited report on obesity insists TD as two years pass by - Independent.ie

"Local TD and Sinn Féin Health spokesperson Louise O'Reilly TD has called on the government to publish an annual report for 'A Healthy Weight for Ireland: Obesity Policy and Action Plan 2016 - 2025', which was two years old this month"

I wonder what the FG government spent on this report just for it to molder away?
We are doing an amazing job running this country. You are one of O'Brien's little minions why dont you do what FF do best and keep licking FG boots.

So a vote for FF is a vote for FG? I'll bear that in mind.
No FF are our servants we own them now, your master O'Brien is a useless loud mouthed oaf not in the class of Deputy Farrell or Sen O Reilly, i will not thank god that awful Redmond guy was stopped returning by the Chairman of the Howth Branch, Bravo

stay out of DBN biz you know nothing of our workings, the chairman of the howth branch is a zero, he stills thinks he is in YFG for christ sakes, a lapdog for the useless ex cllr form there, he didnt stop redmond, we did. If i had that ambulance chaser as my main guy i would be more worried about my area.

Dublin People - Protest is held to get new school

"Chairman of the board of management at St Joseph’s, Senator James Reilly (FG), said: “The whole community is still shocked at how little has been done to put up the new school despite the obvious growth in population. The need for a new school is strongly felt by everyone in and around Rush.”"

Interesting, is it usual for politicians in office to sit on such boards? Is there not a conflict of interest involved?

Hopefully he isn't teaching a maths class.

If they do move the school site should fetch a decent price, lovely view over the sea and beach.

Is Cathal Boland standing in Rush/Lusk ward? Dave O'Connor old seat is mainly in Rush/Lusk now but Boland would have support in the Balbriggan Ward.

This, nothing much will change in Fingal next time out. The only thing that is in question is whether Reilly or Farrell will take the solitary FG seat. My money is on Farrell due to the incumbency factor. Although, Reilly is working hard in the area. The North County Leader (the local rag) often looks like a Reilly election leaflet given how prominently he is featured there. He has in column there to boot. He must be paying them handsomely for such special treatment.
not so sure on that one, many people might not like his personal life choices.

Farrell? Maybe around Malahide but many people still haven't a clue who he is let alone his private life. People just voted for FG rather than who the candidate was, Reilly was fairly toxic at the last election and jury is out if Reilly has changed that.

Peadar Toibin TD is hosting a meeting for his new party Aontu (Ireland's self-proclaimed "fastest growing political movement") on Wednesday the 27th of March at 7:30 PM in the Grand Hotel in Malahide. Will Aontu be running anybody in Fingal in the next GE or LE?
