Sinn Féin has been out front in matters of 'National Interest' lately

When will it be voted on? Can you simply lay down a MONC at any time? Will it be this afternoon?

Sinn Fein got rid of o donoghue, o dea and took the government to court over the by elections. They have been ahead of the game of late.

Be wary of Sinn Fein's populist politics.

Very poorly timed and opportunistic.
There is no point in doing this unless you had a few FF backbenchers on side.

I agree!

As someone who has never voted SF I will certainly be giving it careful consideration come the GE.

If its this week its too early and a stupid move the greens, healy rae and the fridge man with the mobile will all row in behind and defeat it.

Great move by SF. It was crucial that the charge of economic mismanagement be made against Cowen while he is still Taoiseach.

The damage done by yesterday's neo-facist stunt by O Snodaigh, has been offset by this simple act of Parliamentary accountability (their economic plan is also detailed and positive).

Maybe they have.

Presumably, they're going to wait for Pearse Doherty to come on board?
